Your lessons are much better than my training haha. Thanks a bunch for the videos. They're really helpful.
THANK YOU FOR BREAKING DOWN THE MOVEMENT!!! I have been wondering why my drive does not look like the more seasoned players...
Love your videos! I really like how mechanics are described :)
Shouldn't the racket be horizontal to the floor when impacting ball?
Was there ever made a level 21? Can't find on the website. Maybe I've missed it.
I only made 20 levels so far 😄
@@ThePursuitofSquash Its two years now. Waiting for level 21 and more
i disagree with almost everything, but i respect the effort and promotion of the sport
This is a lame comment, a sweeping statement like this carries no value at all. I'm a squash coach would say his videos are amongst the best - this a mechanically sound basic swing. He's not showing you power or cut which is probably what you're mixing this up with.
@@PaulSamTube as a squash coach and player that is fairly confident about his technical beliefs and understanding of the sport, I can confirm I disagree with most things here. Power comes with play time and isn't something that needs coaching and cut has nothing to do with my comment. It was a sweeping statement because it applied to most things he said, so thanks for stating the obvious
@@DREADNAUGHT1999 Sorry William - where is the physics in "power comes with play time"? Power comes from upper body rotation, through the hips and legs, forearm rotation (with no wrist flex). Timing these movements is what creates power which I agree comes with play time. Seriously though, this guy does a great job illustrating these points and unless you can specifically point to an aspect you disagree with and back this up with evidence there is little point in commenting. Cheers, Paul.
@@PaulSamTube let's forget the whole power thing we have been sidetracked on that. Anyway, please believe me In having reasons for disagreeing with there points because I don't have the space to write it here. However I disagree with:
- his movement into the ball whilst hitting it. (The fact he is still moving forward whilst making contact)
- his body direction/angle whilst hitting the ball
- his earliness, or lack of earliness with racket preperation
- The foot he plays the ball off of
- His explanation of follow through
Those would be the main things, just a difference in technical beliefs.
