A really great tip from someone was to put the filling into large ziplock bag and then put into the doorstop if you plan on washing.
Thank you, I was going to buy one of these then saw this and made one with leftover fabrics. Love it!
Wonderful!
I know absolutely nothing about sewing but your instructions were simple and clear and I am going to give this a go. Thank you.

I went ahead and made it with Velcro closure ---- it's a gift and now she can remove the insides and wash it - should it get dirty. LOVE IT!!! I will be making more. I just didn't understand the original instructions so that it can be refillable - but makes complete sense now. Thank you for such great videos! Very easy to follow.

Hello Angela. Thank you so very much for another amazing project. I have now made the doorstop, a few of your different teatowel toppers and the mini car bin. I just discovered your channel, first video was the tea towels then this one. I LOVE them both! Your style is very easy to follow. I will be making many of those tea towels for Christmas gifts and a few of these door stops for me. Oh, I just subscribed as well 😊
Thanks so much! 😊. I think a lot of people are getting towels for Xmas🤣….. Working on a couple other simple designs. Stay tuned🙏
oh very cute door stop 🤗🤗👍👍 just now i thought its some sort of cute purse 🤭 it took me couple of seconds to realize "door stopper" 😁😅🤓
Thanks Nongnong - Maybe I need to change the title in the picture... Have a great day!
@@NotchesSewing Have a great and productive ahead Angela 🙆🏻♀️🙆🏻♀️🙏🏻🙏🏻🤓🤓
Great idea!👍👏
Thank you! Cheers!
Идеальный стоппер🤩🤩🤩👌👌👌
Great
Good video! I had to alter tbe measurements as you say 5 inches on bottom of the template but 7 inch of velcro and i found it doesnt work, unless you do also 7 inch on the template for the bottom.
Thank you. Glad you like it😊 You don’t need to adjust any measurements. The bottom measures 7”. Watch the video again. The pattern is made with the paper folded in half. 3.5” marked from the fold for the bottom.
Awesome thxs much
Any time! Thanks for watching.

Let me know what you think. Have a great day!!😊🙏
Hi there great video just subscribed. Can I ask what type of fabric is best please?
You can really use any fabric you like but I used heavier fabrics such as drill, upholstery fabric, denim, corduroy
Love this! Thanks! How can I make a more Pyramid shape, with a bit larger of a flat bottom?
Thanks Beth😊. You can sew a bigger seam on the sides but this will make it shorter. You can add extra to the top. Please have a look at some other videos on my channel. Cheers!
Hi. Thanks for the reply! Thanks. Shorter is ok by me. I'll have a look at more of your videos. Your detailed instructions are really helpful!
Actually can you tell me how tall the finished door stoppers are? Thanks!
All details will be in the description. Cheers!
This is GREAT!!! But, why does it have to be "refillable"? Small pebble rocks don't go anywhere......... I'm just lost on that........... can't I just sew the bottom opening closed?
Thank you. It’s made refillable for the off chance you want to wash the cover. You can totally make it with a closed bottom and just hose it down if you need to.. Thanks for watching🙏
You can fill it to your desired heaviness too depending on the door your holding open so it makes it versatile.
How big is the paper you are using at the beginning?
I’m using Letter size papers. 8.5’’ x 11’’ Thanks for watching.
what kind of machine are you using?
an industrial Brother S7200. Thanks for watching😊
I would have used a inside bag to fill and then I could wash the cover that you made.
That’s a great idea!😊
