    A really great tip from someone was to put the filling into large ziplock bag and then put into the doorstop if you plan on washing.

    I went ahead and made it with Velcro closure ---- it's a gift and now she can remove the insides and wash it - should it get dirty. LOVE IT!!! I will be making more. I just didn't understand the original instructions so that it can be refillable - but makes complete sense now. Thank you for such great videos! Very easy to follow.

    Good video! I had to alter tbe measurements as you say 5 inches on bottom of the template but 7 inch of velcro and i found it doesnt work, unless you do also 7 inch on the template for the bottom.

      @NotchesSewing  Рік тому

      Thank you. Glad you like it😊 You don’t need to adjust any measurements. The bottom measures 7”. Watch the video again. The pattern is made with the paper folded in half. 3.5” marked from the fold for the bottom.

    This is GREAT!!! But, why does it have to be "refillable"? Small pebble rocks don't go anywhere......... I'm just lost on that........... can't I just sew the bottom opening closed?

    • @NotchesSewing
      @NotchesSewing  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you. It’s made refillable for the off chance you want to wash the cover. You can totally make it with a closed bottom and just hose it down if you need to.. Thanks for watching🙏
