- I am relatively new to faith planning, but I love how it has really invigorated my morning quiet time and helped guide my prayers. There are lots of ways to faith plan - you don't have to have a whole separate planner! I am sharing a few of my ideas on incorporating faith planning into your catch-all planner in this video. Another idea is with that horizontal planner, use one row for faith, one for work, one for family or whatever you plan for. Love happy planner! Thank you.

How are you doing today?
I have been using the Faith Planner in a similar way as Elise. I use printables or kit leftovers to decorate the pages but I use it in a different manner. I use She Reads Truth for part of my devotions so I enter the scripture reading for that day and then write a response to the day’s reading. Since they don’t have readings on the weekend I just respond to the verses they give on those days. In Aug I decorated the first 2 weeks similar to the way Elise did hers but adding in a little extra. The 3rd week in Aug was my birthday week so I used some leftovers of the IF Confetti kit. And the last week I did in Print and Pray Treasures of Trusting God. We usually go the coast in Aug but did not go this year so I brought the ocean me. The 1st and 2nd weeks of Sept I used elements from the IF Word Nerd kit and the BTW4G True North kit and the 3rd week I used Print and Pray Heart to Hear. Next week I will do a fall theme and more of them in Oct. By using the She Reads Truth scriptures and writing responses I find I absorb more and put more into “practice”. I have been enjoying this planner very much. Thank you Elise for introducing this method.

So many good, fun ideas! Thank you for sharing. This is a wonderful way to always remember answered prayers, also a good check mark or star item. I tried planning last year and was overwhelmed with all the "extra" stuff. I am trying again this year in a scaled down way. Thanks again!
I hope it works for you this year. There can certainly be a lot of extras, but you can always simplify and find a system that works for you.

I have been loving using the brand Sunday planner called The Best Season Planner. It actually has about 20 pages for each week. Has 2 daily pages for writing out your verse of the day and questions such as How can I incorporate it into today.

Am not memorizing any longer :) BUT it is amazing to me that verses that I memorized 60 years ago are not the same because the Bible versions have changed so much. I really like the red-lettered versions of the Bible and they are getting hard to find ..... I enjoy your posts!

Sandra...I've found red letter KJV Bibles at used bookstores...thrift shops are a good option too!
Is your daily scripture in your week layout the same as the one in your monthly spread please?
It is not. In my monthly layout, I am following a scripture writing plan. In my weekly layout, I just keep track of the passages that I am reading/studying.
I really want to use planners more often. It usually starts with good intentions and then stops within a few weeks. I often buy these cute planners and then only a few pages end up being filled :-( So disappointing! I love cute bullet journals/planners and would love to have some of my own, but I just can't seem to get into a long-term routine.
This might sound silly, but I find I have to make a plan for my planner. A plan on how I want to use it and when I will work on it. That helps me a lot to stay focused.
