Statistically, having been a smoker since before Calvin Broadus's PARENTS were EVEN BORN (which alone is just fucking crazy) Willie had Snoop Doggy Dog outsmoked AT BIRTH. lmfao
I'd be lucky if I could take two hits on the stuff they smoke. I can't figure out why the entire world does not grow good weed like that and like what I had in the '70s and since, but not lately. Why is there so much drab weed out there? Greedy bat's turds selling for profit. We have to get the karma back. Willie and those guys never lost it.

Not all, theres a man who is 71 years old named Steve Valdez, mr Valdez is a repeat offender caught his firsy DWI in 1992, since then he caused thousands of dollars of damage & injury to the public, i am one of them, i sued him 3 times, he became more childish the more court time he had, & finally he assaulted my lawyer’s assistant , a 71 year old man assaulted a 25 yr old woman because he was mad we were forcing him to pay for damages, that old man deserves no respect & when im done with him all his social security checks will be mine & he will be living in a homeless shelter

Lots of people who grow older never lose their marbles. In fact, most are sharp all the way to the end.
He's a 90yo pot smoker, and sharper than many of the sober 20-somethings I'm forced to work with.

Cant say the weed dulls you with how sharp this guy is.
I passed full semester of 400 level classes and worked 40+ hour work week and drove average of 15+ hours a week for school and work purposes while smoking weed every time I got home. The only thing weed dulled was crippling anxiety and chronic pain.

@User_6285 aww look at you trying to accuse someone of lying without using any words. Check yourself before you break yourself. It was between weed or clonopin for me. I'm prescribed clonopin for panic disorder but it makes me feel like shit and does not let me sleep, but weed helps sleeping issues and gets rid of nausea I have almost on daily bases at night.

Willie Nelson is the reason I still have my long hippie hair from the 70s. Never would’ve tolerated the desert heat without his inspiration for braids. The bandana gets worn like a headband here.
I cut my hippie hair when I was drafted into the Army and re-grew it when I was 70. it makes me feel like me.

When I think of the many duets Willie has sung with many of the most notable singers out there, I am so impressed. Willie has sung songs of every genre out there. I can’t help but be amazed at what he has accomplished and at how he is loved by generations of fans.
He is phenomenal in concert. It's astounding how many songs he sings you know, that you didn't realize you know. Absolute original in every way. ❤🎉

I've never been a huge Willie Nelson fan...what I do have is a HUGE amount of respect for him and what he's accomplished his whole life. The absolute best concert I have been to or even heard of was We Fest in Central Minnesota sometime in the 90s. My husband and I were there, it began to rain as Willie was to take the stage. In about 20 min. It was pouring down rain.
He was the last set of the night, and we thought he would end early. Nope, he kept playing, people leaving the grounds in droves, he kept playing. Soon only about 40 of us left in the pouring rain, dancing, listening to him sing. When the sound blew out he finished the song then said, well he guessed that was it for the night. He had played through his scheduled time and more. We had such a wonderful night! I know for him it was one concert in hundreds, for us it is a cherished memory 💖 Thank you for having him as a guest, it was so great to see him!

Willie Nelson is a legend
That Greatest Hits album looks like a single album. While I may not be a huge Nelson fan, I do know, you cannot fit his "Greatest Hits" onto less than 2 or 3 albums.
So if we put on our thinking caps we might surmise there will be a "Greatest Hits Part II", "Greatest Hits Part III", etc., so long as he still needs money.
@@ericminch even after his tax problems, he has millions. At 90 years old, how much more money does he need? Right now, I think his biggest expenses are registering that bus and getting a few weeks worth of weed.

I flew in from Nashville for this show- not knowing Willie was guest! He sang “Whiskey River” I was thrilled!
My dad is 92, and as coherent as Willie. Heck my dad's memory is better than mine and I'm thirty years younger. Both are astounding!
I’ve loved Willie since I was about 4 listening to him on the AM radio in the morning getting ready for the day. That was a lot of days ago, I just turned 60!
To add to the collection of folks favourites, mine is Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground. Went through a severe drug addiction and my dad would play it for me while I was going through withdrawal. It gave me strength and I knew my dad was there beside me to help set me free on the other side. That was 40 years ago, and it still makes me cry the amount of love in that one song.
Thank you Willie, you deserve every music recognition out there, you are truly a National Treasure!!!

This is the first time I've heard Willie without his signature voice, I feel like it has alot to do with his touring so it might be out right now but I'm afraid hes hitting that age that we don't wanna acknowledge. Willie, as an Austin native born and raised THANK YOU for everything!
I had the pleasure of seeing this man at my first ever music festival, with my now wife, after being gone for four months. It was great. To show what a true class act this man is, despite his overlap with Old Crow Medicine show on another stage, he just free played until they ended, and the crowd had time to join his part of the festival before actually starting his show.

I played his guitar one time! It was one of them anyway. My friend ran a benefit for MD by auctioning signed guitars by many popular musical artists. He kept a nylon string acoustic guitar of his friend, Willie, for when he'd "stop by". It was in a climate controlled closet in a tweed case. I was honored when he asked me if I wanted to play it.
He had alot of pictures of Willie playing that guitar. The walls of the house were covered with autographed pictures and guitars from many musical celebrities.
Looking forward to the book comming out. I've loved listening to Willie as long as I can remember and has seen him live in Norway on a lot of occations. You never go home dissapointed from a Willie Nelson concert.

He’s a great man.
I have loved and listened to Willie for over 50 years, it was one of the things my Nana and I had in common. Three of my favorite are Chapter 33 the Pilgrim, which was on the very first album I ever bought, with my very first paycheck at the corner drug store, City of New Orleans and Me and Bobby McGee.
You just gotta love this man.
