Hello. How did you attach the needle? Put a piece of bicycle spoke in a drill and spin it at 90 degrees angle against a spinning bench grinder. Gives a fast cheap decent cutting needle.

So that's a medium tone phonograph needle that you affixed to the end of a Gakken stylus? Would love some info on how you're holding it on there! Does that kind of stylus also work well for the gakken blanks?
the gramophone needles i have cut 12 inch records with and sound good . obs not on the gakken . if u see my vids you can see me doing this . i use a wire conector with the small grub screws to hold it on
Try using a hairdryer to soften the plastic disk makes cutter easier

Hello! I suppose that the needle of cartridge was between cutting tracks during reproducing! I had the same effect in my homemade cutting records))

i used a striped back wire conector with the 2 grub screws
Did u use a eq? Or just straight up did it?
no eq but just droped off the bass and raised the treble to give it the curve

Yep just a old cd .. thay are made of polycarbonate . I cut full size 78 rpm records on polycarbonate . Look at some of my vids
