On October 21st Yonex just launched their brand new Astrox 77 PRO. It seems like Yonex is getting into a pattern of lining their series in PRO, TOUR, GAME and PLAY. Let's hear what Ian has to say about this racket and the new Yonex product line strategy.

Congrats on your new born 👏🏻🥰
Congratulations! Thanks for explaining the naming of the lineup. I play with Pro, Game, & Play models. I am surprised by how they perform considering the price. Yes, Pro will feel & perform the best. Players may want to know which to buy. Buy rackets based on specs & replace the factory strings (Tour, Game, & Play) for better performance. For me, some players just love to swing at everything even when they hear "mine". Then I play with Play & Game.
I play with Arcsaber 7 Pro & 7 Play, & Astrox 100 Game. Arcsaber 7 Pro & Play. I am able to play a fast paced game with confidence. So light I am able to repeatedly attack an opponent. Lacks power on overhead smashes compared to Astrox 100 Game & Duora. 7 Pro & 7 Play is great for drives & delaying net shots & lifts. A player with a fast swing speed & power will be best suited for this model. I find drives were more powerful than overhead smashes.
7 Play. Wow! The performance on it is amazing considering the price. My friend cannot tell the difference. Every time I win against him in MD he yells "Stop playing with the 7 Play! Use the Pro!" He has 88S Pro.
The updated Arcsaber 7 series is great for defensive to counter attacking style games. Astrox 100 Game for over powering opponents.
Have you try 88s play? How is it compare to 7 play?
You mean Astrox 7 play is better than 7pro? I am an intermediate player love to play continuous shots both smashes and drops? Is it suitable for my style of play? The energy bosster cap is absent in 7play? Is this affect the smash power?
One more? Which is better 7play or 11 play?
Every place you telling same stories
@@gusmango3175 Astrox 100 Game is the only Astrox racket I play with. Haven't tried others.
Congratulations Dude!
Can you review the astrox nextage please, I used to play with the li ning turbocharging 75 but they no longer sell to the US and see similarities between the next age and turbocharging, Thanks great vid.
Great review thank you
I saw some babolat tennis racquets in the background, can you do some badminton review?
AX77 new red is a way better color, I wish they kinda make it the same color though
Please do arc 7 pro. Thank you 🙏
Hi sir, Can you please make one comparison and indepth review video on Mizuno fortius 10 power and fortius 11 power.
I have searched a lot but there is no english review available on youtube in these racquets so please make a video on this. I request a lot
Much grateful if you could do a review on Victor 90K version 2🤝
90k is a headlight racket good to start your game but lacks the power to finish.
I tried an Astrox 77 last night. Liked it quite a bit. Not sure what model it was , as the only writing on it was Astrox 77 (No mention of Pro, tour, etc) It was Blue.
thats old model
Watching this even though I can’t swing any Astrox series rackets 😅. They’re just too heavy for me.
Hi, pls have a full racket review with the atrox nextage
How does it compare with the 88D Pro?
could you give me advice which suitable racket for beginner player like me ASTROX 77 PRO, 88D PRO, or 100 Game,?
Note: i played single and mostly double (Front and Rear) and i had power, sometime i am fast too.
100 Game if you are beginner, 77 Pro for intermediate and 88D Pro for advanced.
If I have played with the yonex arcsaber 11 play and yonex astrox 77 play should I buy the yonex astrox 77 pro? Im a advanved girl and im a single and double's im choosing between yonex arcsaber 11 pro and yonex astrox 77 pro. I like the aesthetics on the 77 pro
Any chance you'll review the Nanoflare 88 LT to compare with the others?
Pro Racket Sports is the best!!!!!! Still need your brother's info Ian :)
Astrox 77 pro vs astrox 100zz
100ZZ is an absolute power beast but it feels heavy and slow. difficult for net play, amazing for back smashes. 77 is a better well rounded but lacks a bit of power as it isn't as stiff. 88S pro is kind of the best of both imo
Bro plz make more reviews
I have astrox 69 (sibling of ax 99 i believe?) And arcsaber 7 pro. One is too heavy for me and the other feels too light. By chance i got hold of a very old Voltric 1 lcw and the headweight of it i found to be perfect for me. Among ax 88d pro, 88s pro and 77 pro which one comes closer to voltric 1 lcw in terms of headweight?
Hi Ian, how would you compare A77pro to 88Dpro in terms of stiffness ? tx
88D Pro shaft is slimmer and stiffer than 77 Pro. A little less forgiving but more power for the 88D pro.
Nextage pls next
Please try Yonex astrox 22rx
astrox 88s pro or astrox 77 pro?
It's weird that you find the racket as medium flex when other reviewers find it as quite stiff. I have been playing with it for four days now and it does feel stiff. I'd say it's even stiffer than the 88D Pro and on par with the Nanoflare 800LT.
How would you say the power compares to an 88d pro?
Hello! How does it feel in terms of stiffness compared to the OG and some other rackets like the 88 series? Many thanks!
Up! I needed to know too
I broke my z force II 3u. 77 pro seems to have a similar balance as z force but faster and lighter. However, i need to accustom to faster swing speed and lots of times bigger swings compared to z force 2 which requires small instant movement for the same distance
I like the cosmetics thou.. the black are gloss and shine with details...
The background song is irritating
Can you review Yonex Arcsaber 7 Pro
👍
is 10% prestretch good?
it depends what you are looking for. I have been stringing for a while and what I noticed is that prestretch helps it hold tension but it drops a little bit initially. While for no prestretch it will start off at the right tension but gradually loses it faster
👍👍👍
original 77 vs pro vs tour?
More stiff and stable than 77 OG , but also more powerful
The 77 pro 4u is able to generate enough power for clear and smash close to the OG 3U
It’s like a mini 88D pro minus a little head weight
@@xxlwsxx which one better between 88d pro or 77 pro for rear court player like to smash?
@@jonathanlayadi If you got the power , of course its 88D Pro. I am getting old, finding easier racquet to use :) .
88d pro vs 77 pro for 4U ?
88D Pro shaft is slimmer and stiffer than 77 Pro. A little less forgiving but more power for the 88D pro.
So.....Yonex are selling cheap chinese knockoffs of their rackets under the Game/Tour and Play brands ?
its more to yonex trying to sell different variants that suits people who have budget constraints or not. when people look at the price of a racket that is too expensive for them, they can still buy the tour/play model. of course there would be slight difference in feeling of the racket as the price goes down because of the different types of material used. thats my two cent
@@syafiq3420 Yeah, I understand, but I meant more, that instead of having different branding they sell the cheap rackets with the same name as their best...that is what feels confusing to me in their namig scheme...the numbering worked just fine IMO
