Lovely video! I really enjoyed the sound of the whistle, and the various shots you took of the locomotive while it was at the station. I especially find the part where they rotate the loco to be rather interesting. I haven't seen that before!
Pure joy my friend that you offer us (and to you). Original trackage was short. Small kettle with just enough boiler size for a couple cup of tea but what a whistle ! Steam makes a "greasy" sound that´s far better than straight air. Turntable on the main is an other oddities. Forgot which gauge it was. Glad they survived covid financial shutdown. Anf for a change, that train didn´t pass by my house....😊😂😅
@@BasementEngineer i don´t know how to explain. Diesel locomotives usés plain air. Sound is less rich. Steam have water particules mix with air. Sound is more rich more weavy. Far better to my ear. Hope to have answered you.
The steam whistle sure sounds nice! There is no other sound like it. Why put British flags on a Canadian locomotive running in Canada? Certain Canadians are true fetishists with everything British.

Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it.
Great video with this little tourist railroad!
Thank you very much!
Good vid! The information in the discription is incorrect, just to point it out. Happy foaming. 😊
@sam_757 should be more correct now. Too many things going on today, can’t believe I missed that. Thanks.

@BasementEngineer we put British flags on this locomotive because it ran when Canada as still part of the British Empire 🇬🇧
