I Remember Seeing VIA 75 at Chatham In February 2024
That was one of the nicest K5CA-LS I've heard in a while! I almost mistook it for 908.

I don't understand why there are two wagons and an engine attached to the back of this train. Are the rear cars and engine in transit/repositioning?

Nice catch! I'm glad there is a conclusion ( and a grace period ) between the Ports of the East Coast and CN ( Canadian National ) and CPKC ( Canadian Pacific/ Kansas City ) railways to keep the trains going, even as we heads towards the holiday shopping season, because the timing would've been devastating if it went through, thank goodness we can breathe ( and toot 🚂 ) a HUGE sigh of relief. Keep up the great work! PS, thankfully, we don't have that same problem on THIS side of the train universe ( the Western US... including where I live now....and the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach ) but it would be a HUGE mess carrying some of their freighters from one side to the other, and vice-versa. 😊!

Build 586 tail end in 2 passes, or take a 577 and switch in hand... 2 passes it is lol. 586 54 cars in 61, plus all of 62 and 63. Smells like length bonus, maybe.
Nice to see one of the rebuilt 75is! That horn sucks though. :P
@TheRailfan360 not sure it sucks, it's just different. Wish it had been an eastbound, you get better horn action for the crossing from that direction.

Cool rebuilt SD75iacc 8301.
You may see that 4795 go back east to Montreal soon... no load after the transition at 26mph, also has intermittent wheel slip light come on, even when not moving...
@PeepoConductor that's too bad, hopefully I'll have an opportunity to catch it on 532 before it goes back. It's an engine number I haven't seen before.
@@BrockvilleRailfan If you come by after 1500hrs, you may see the 4795 and the 2 Pan Am Box cars go serve clients, the normal crew is slammed in the yard today, I believe theres an extra ordered for then. Im still in Brockville, just off sick for today.

@PeepoConductor I knew you were coming out so I was keeping an eye out, thanks for the perfect timing part, thank the engineer for me. :) You have a couple of blue PanAm boxcars in the yard to my knowledge, are those leaving on 586 or are they possibly heading out to Kriska first? It's always nice to get some clean, well lit shots when they are sitting there in late afternoon sunlight.
@BrockvilleRailfan as of now I've got 1, it'll be going to Kriska first, then 586, as to when, not entirely sure.
