Finally! Here's a tour of our new apartment, which is really an officetel, which just means an apartment with appliances that's usually meant for an office.

Ahem, what I mean is...an officetel is literally (in its correct sense) the perfect housing for me. Better than a caravan...currently the only suitable option I have to choose.

Spudgy was at his most adorable here. My favorite bit is where he's just chilling in the closet, totally still, just blinking, like "If I don't move and blend into the clothes, Mum and Dad won't see me and I can stay in here with them." RIP, Spudgy, even people who never met you miss you.

An eye-catching wall mural. Wall murals are especially good for small rooms, because it draws one's eyes directly to the work of art rather than the size of the room. It not only adds volume to your room, but also gives the bedroom a nice theme.

Purple or black (or any color) baroquish wallpaper, put one, leave the same width as the wallpaper blank and so on. Or put stickers on your wall, it can be really beautiful.
I think the best part of the officetel is that there are so many designs around. It is nice. Though I think some apartments have them too.
Nice place! We lived in military housing when we lived in Korea so it was mostly western style appliances (washer AND dryer, full size oven) and 110 power. It had those cool glass cabinets that would open up and down (not side to side like a door...) and I loved those! I want to install some in a home when we buy/build. I miss Korea. :( I also miss the way I could hose down the bathrooms to clean, so nice since I have two boys... well three if you include the husband!
you should paint your wall first and then after you choose which color you want to paint your wall you should buy furniture like big spinny chairs or stools(whatever you think would look good in your room) and then after that get a awesome bedspread ,a bunch of throw pillows and your room will be complete! also for your bathroom you can just buy like enssence or a foot spa and if you like spa type things you should mae a relaxation/spa station in your bathroom.... and thats my suggestion.

I also live in such an apartment. This is so great. Below me is a newspaper shop and an Asian restaurant. I live right in the center of the city and the university is only 5 minutes away. AWESOME!!!

Super adorable! You guys could get some decals like the ones in the kitchen, it would really tie together the house...There are a whole bunch online--also, there are some really cute chalkboard decals that you peel&stick and use chalk to draw on!! REALLLY FUN! :) hope that helps

Wow. Your officetel looks like something off one of those Better Homes and Gardens for Hipsters style blogs. So it looks REALLY awesome.
You can put a rectangular mirror above your bed on the wall. it'll make you room look larger. Or you can put wall stickers. There a many designs from flowers to animals to words to buildings. it'll jazz up the bare wall

A TOP mural in black and white! Or you can get a tree feature with baskets/cubicles where the fruit is supposed to be.
@Luna87 they probably put it up, since the main point of renting spaces to people is that you keep the space "unused and clean". things like that are relatively easy to find in Korea... they have tons of stationary stores.
