For the record, I despise all current pop music. It ALL sucks! There's something horribly wrong with it, some sort of corrupted melody algorithm formula that they can't stop using, making everything sound exactly the same. It's as if a virus has infected song craft. I can't possibly despise it any more than I do. It is the sound of hell to me. I am at the point where to fill the void, I've gone back through recorded history in music, to find and listen to artists and songs that I didn't appreciate at the time, or didn't have time to investigate. Anything produced, performed and sung by an actual talented but imperfect human being is my preference now.
Same here....I'm old and probably stuck in the past, but nearly everything from the 60s to mid90s sounds more tolerable than the crap they put out now. No real instruments and autotuned voices singing generic melodies. What is wrong with the youth of today??

It's insteresting how many peopele think this kind of music is garbage. Did you ever consider there are different genres of music and in every genre there are some really brilliant and passionate minds? Just because it's not your kind of music doesn't mean it's trash. Try listening to different types of music and you'll find out there is a whole world of music to discover with people who are just as passionate as Steel Panther...
