Hi! I worked on this maze and the dark spots in the exorcist are there because it sort of signifies time passing , if you noticed , reagan gets worse and worse each time you enter her bedroom. Hill house was scariest this year. Where Texas Halloween and exorcist we all know the movies and scene so a lot of us were sort of familiar with what would be next. Hill house had me completely anxious because I never knew what to expect. It was way different than the original classic movie to.

I'm okay with all of them but the exorcist would 99% give me a heart attack! That movie always freaked me out to my core! Last time I went to HHN was 2019, before Covid. Hoping I can go back this year!!

It kinda takes you out of it when you can't fully immerse yourself in the maze when you can see the ceiling of the tent or the studio building. lmao! Definitely needs to be done at night.
I was thinking this exact same thing. Watching Knott's videos compared to this, and I'm like, even if Knott's doesn't have the production value, there's way more scarers, and the mazes are a lot darker. I also think HHN lacks in terms of their scare zones. Everything is so bright. Still a lot of fun to go, but you're not missing out on much if you don't. These two are great to watch though.
@@LessDebateMoreCreate I think the issue with hhh Is that there's probably rules to have it light enough to see where your going as if someone got hurt that could be a big lawsuit
I just found this channel AND IM PISSED that I haven’t found it earlier! You guys are freaking awesome and living my dream. 🤗 I’d love to travel to things like this. Especially with my two little ghouls.
I did HHN once in Orlando. The houses were really impressive, but the people around and the immense noise took me out of it. I actually had the most fun with the free street displays. It was for a bachelor party ahead of a wedding in Disney!
It's a funny thing that, in spite of the fact that I've lived in L.A. practically my entire life, and have worked the Hollywood Haunts for several years now, I've never been to the Knott's Scary Farm. When I was a kid we visited Knott's on many occasions, but it was never as awesome as Disneyland, Magic Mountain (now known as Six Flags) and Universal Studios. Hey, let me know if Knott's is worth it.
What you said about the dark spots is 100% spot on. I went in 2019 and felt the same way. On one hand it added to the scare factor, that anticipation. On the other hand it felt lackluster and kind of lazy. Like as if they were like, "I don't know what to do here and don't care." In some of the houses they had performers just popping out of blank walls and you could totally see them. You were just waiting on them to move. I didn't care for it. Still had a good time though.
The Mazes themselves were good but the Park itself was not up to my expectations. No monsters running around, no smoke hardly any spooky sounds. Knotts actually one ups them in this department
I agree, I went to horror nights on September 18th and was extremely disappointed with a lot of things this year. I went to knotts yesterday and had a blast, the mazes obviously aren’t movie quality but they were funny and enjoyable and they had scare actors everywhere!
The Exorcist is one of the best books ever written or at least in my opinion. It’s definitely more of a psychological book than a horror story. It’s more about the human condition and self discovery oddly enough. The film is amazing but it definitely focuses more on the horror aspect. I think the horror is a metaphor for us being held back and possessed by our own demons. At least , that’s my interpretation…haha
I love how they have different attractions at Universal Hollywood for different experiences! We went to HHN in Orlando and did Hill House. It would have been awesome to see Halloween 4 and The Exorcist!

Thank you for letting me join you on your adventure through HHN. It was amazing. I went in 2015 and was terrified of the Purge and Crimson Peak mazes. Love all the general mayhem and spookiness that takes place. Enjoy your channel and am always looking forward to what you bring to your channel next. Stay spooky!! 🖤👻💀🖤
Went last night to HHN and I had SO MUCH FUN!! The Exorcist, The Haunting of Hill House and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre were my absolute favorites!! SO OBSESSED!
I stayed up for hours the other evening watching this and other cool videos. You and Baby Ghoul are epic presenters. So passionate about the genre. If horror was a drug. I'm hooked! 👋😎
We just got back from Orlando, favorite house was Revenge of the Tooth Fairy. You'll love it! I had such a blast. We hit all 10 houses, all the scare zones and the shows. Clocked 40k steps that night. Earlier that day we had also done the Behind the Screams for three houses. Honestly, HHN is fantastic. I enjoyed it in 2019, and really enjoyed it this year too. I managed to actually fall for a jump scare, which as someone who runs a haunted house, pretty rare lol
dont you get really underwhelmed though when you watch the people in front of you being scared because they push wayyyy to many people through these houses at the same time?? cause as someone who has gone to sooo many haunted houses through my life, they fail at scaring and win at the set design thats about it
@@treepros1730 if you go earlier in the season, and typically on a weekday you can go through slower. We went on a Friday, and paced a distance between us and other groups so we wouldn't miss out on much of the scares. We try to go in September so it's not as busy as October.
Youre camera work was so good I literally thought you were standing on a moving walkway up until I saw people just walked through the maze at the Halloween 4 house 💀
Loved the video! The Texas chainsaw massacre was intense. I love horror- but have never been a fan of intense slasher films. Also, the Exorcist was my favorite! Thanks for the great show!
😂 …I have to admit, I’m not a huge horror fan (I find the gore stuff just boring and over-played, I’m more of a classics kinda guy with the slow-build, creepy vibe of what you don’t get to see much of like: Halloween, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Exorcist etc - although The Thing gets a pass because it’s just THAT good) but I thought pretty much the same thing when they were walking thru The Purge section! WILD! 🥴
Amazing footage inside the houses! It was so cool to see it all. I do miss a wrap up when you end so abruptly but that’s only because I’m having such a good time watching 😈💚
11:27, Wow, the Harry Potter land. I have not been to L.A. or Hollywood since I was a kid around 1998 or 1999. The last place I have been to in California was the Bay Area when I did the Pixar internship in Summer 2019. That was the most amazing experience I ever had living there. Now I am trapped in boring Texas with no job and not making money. All my classmates went to amazing studios and companies.
Love from Japan! USJ doesn't have that much scary haunted houses this year. hollywood one is absolutely cool!! The movie cruse place is now a haunted house? I'd love to walk around and experience there! Thanks for posting the video.
I feel like it would be better if you could explore the place slowly than just walk for 5 mins in there. Also, they could have make the place as silent as possible so the jumpscares would actually be scary. I was hoping that the Hill House would be as creepy as the series but I was kinda disappointed. It was only the Bent Neck Lady and that's all. I would have liked if it was quiet and dark and suddenly there's the creepy basement monster.
As a scare actor in Wax Works for Scary Farm in California, its the process for all scarers and theres a quote we all go by "Scare and move on" and we all have to repeat the same thing we were all taught for that character, and with people staying in how room its also harder on our parts for trying to stay in character plus we get more scares in the making,

Ok that exorcist room was terrifying!
Thanks for filming!
Give it up for the actors in the Exorcist portion who literally have to stand there and shake a water bottle for, I don't know, HOURS on end?
Pandora's Box took huge advantages for the use of blacklight. It made things feel surreal for me and I admire their creativity
Also I love fact he calls her "baby ghoul"
Thank you for letting me join you on your adventure through HHN. It was amazing. I went in 2015 and was terrified of the Purge and Crimson Peak mazes. Love all the general mayhem and spookiness that takes place. Enjoy your channel and am always looking forward to what you bring to your channel next. Stay spooky!! 🖤👻💀🖤
Went last night to HHN and I had SO MUCH FUN!! The Exorcist, The Haunting of Hill House and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre were my absolute favorites!! SO OBSESSED!
By far Leatherface maze was the best! At 9:13 it scared the living crap out of me and was contemplating continuing on lmao 🤣
holy moly.. that texas chainsaw one was INSANE!!!
This was awesome!!! Great camera work. It felt like I was there.
Next time I am terrified, I am yelling “ahhhh! Jeez Louise!” 😂😂
" Here's to a new world of Gods and Monsters." . Indeed, Doktor Bride, indeed.
Oh my I'd die if I met hello kitty . This is so amazing to watch thank you both !
I stayed up for hours the other evening watching this and other cool videos. You and Baby Ghoul are epic presenters. So passionate about the genre. If horror was a drug. I'm hooked! 👋😎
Michael Myers is my favorite slasher too! Love him!
Super loved this video!!
Super Bomb!! 🤟🏽Thanks for posting.

Youre camera work was so good I literally thought you were standing on a moving walkway up until I saw people just walked through the maze at the Halloween 4 house 💀
OMG! I actually jumped a few times out of my chair. Watched this with the lights out... Awesome!!!!
Loved the video! The Texas chainsaw massacre was intense. I love horror- but have never been a fan of intense slasher films. Also, the Exorcist was my favorite! Thanks for the great show!
Thank you for recording and uploading the Halloween theme video in UA-cam , you saved my ticket money . Universal studios will be proud of your work.
Plot twist : Everything comes to life and you're in RL danger. 👻
WILD! 🥴
That’s a good story prompt -coming from a. Writer.
@@BananaCologne i know right
@@kenztune1956 Same! I want to write that now.
Fantastic tour and camera work and wow what a night I think the Exorcist and Texas Chainsaw was my favorites thanks again
Amazing footage inside the houses! It was so cool to see it all. I do miss a wrap up when you end so abruptly but that’s only because I’m having such a good time watching 😈💚
I just love this video and you are such a great couple thanks..............
Enjoy RIP guys! We hope to do that next year…we always get express passes and are going Sat 10/9 can’t wait! Happy Halloween! 🎃
That plane crash and what not was very well made like you're right on a set! Norman Bates to omg yes!
Seeing Hello Kitty cosplaying as the Bride of Frankenstein in the opening made my heart happy
Love from Japan! USJ doesn't have that much scary haunted houses this year. hollywood one is absolutely cool!! The movie cruse place is now a haunted house? I'd love to walk around and experience there! Thanks for posting the video.
The hello kitty is soooo cueeeeeeeeeeee
I feel like it would be better if you could explore the place slowly than just walk for 5 mins in there. Also, they could have make the place as silent as possible so the jumpscares would actually be scary. I was hoping that the Hill House would be as creepy as the series but I was kinda disappointed. It was only the Bent Neck Lady and that's all. I would have liked if it was quiet and dark and suddenly there's the creepy basement monster.
Same!!
As a scare actor in Wax Works for Scary Farm in California, its the process for all scarers and theres a quote we all go by "Scare and move on" and we all have to repeat the same thing we were all taught for that character, and with people staying in how room its also harder on our parts for trying to stay in character plus we get more scares in the making,
28:43 jessicka is like walking normal saying "blah whatever" while chinsaw is around her lmao hahahaah
