I'm installing an elbow and inlet pipe tomorrow... Keeping the stock airbox with a Pipercross panel filter for now. And getting a stage 1 ECU and TCU remap on Monday... Great video this will help me on the elbow install, thank you for posting it 🙂

I noticed that after I installed a turbo inlet pipe on my vw golf gti mk 7.5 that it also didn't flutter as much as it use to like you said. Why do you think this is? I also have my BOV disconnected aswell to try to get it to flutter but now after the turbo inlet pipe install there is hardly any flutter
My only guess is that since the aftermarket turbo inlet is wider, maybe that’s what changed the sound and how much it flutters. The stock pipe is a lot smaller in width so I think the air was flowing through it with more pressure making it louder…. Idk🤣 that’s my guess tho!

Wait how does ur Gti have dsg farts and my gli doesn’t doesn’t it have the same transmission
Hey man, that’s a good question. I don’t really know. The gti’s that are dsg are know to fart pretty loud even stock. But I have a catback with a muffler and cat delete so the farts are even louder. I’m also tuned which makes them loud as well
Depending what generation your gli is. if it’s the mk7 gli it came out in 2018 meaning it got the 7 speed dsg compared to the mk7 gti which came out in 2015 had the dq250 (6 speed) until 2018 when the mk7.5 came out getting the 7 speed. and the 7 speed doesn’t make the fart sound.
My GLI does dsg farting when i slam on the gas hard and i get traction issues around like 5k rpm lol
