    Maybe it's just me, one feature I would like to see in future open earbuds is to be able to listen to AM/FM radio without the need of a phone or an app. Soundcore has already shown that you can implement more functionality to a case (ex. Liberty 4 Pro); add an antenna and give the case an AM/FM radio function.

      Why not just download it on your phone as an app and listen that way? I highly doubt that will ever happen since radio listeners are on a steady decline

      JBL earbuds case blows sound case out of the water as far as functionality.

      @@MelloHubb I do that already, the problem is that if I want to listen to our local radio station, their app doesn't work for more than half the time.
      I know it is a niche thing. Years ago, wireless headphones had a radio function, adding it to a pair of earbuds can be done. It could still be useful to not rely on wifi for radio listening. For example, if your broadband is limited, your phone plan restricts your data usage, or if reception is bad in an area; most likely you still have access to radio frequencies.
      It's more of wishful thinking, but you would be surprised by how many people would use a feature like it in a pair of open-ears.

      @@kaice28 LG also has a function where the case can be plugged into a 3,5 mm port and the earbuds are connected to the case; no blutooth or wifi needed.
      It's just more of a reason for more companies to add more functionality to the case, rather than solely relying on an app. Versatility is better for us consumers.

      This pair and there's NO compare.
      I gave openbuds 92/100 because earpiece is too big even I have big ear
      Shokz OpenFit Air I gave 93/100 due to exceptional comfort.

    cool pair. what i would like to know is how loud will i hear a moderately noisy environment like people on a bus while listening to musik at a not so loud volume.

  • @mingkee27
    @mingkee27 Місяць тому

    I have received this pair and I give it 99/100 (the highest I can give) even Aerofit 2 I only gave 95/100 due to lack of low end. (but Aerofit 2 has better mic)
    After I did initial setup with app (enable LDAC, touch controls, and set EQ to all flat), I simply cannot believe open wireless buds can make such serious audio.
    It's capable for serious listening and you can wear them indoor and out. Bass mid treble are well balanced if they're not better than Sennheiser HD6XX, and low end is better than ALL open buds I have including Shokz OpenFit (bass has "pop" even I don't set volume too high; GS doesn't have this problem even at high volume)
    Comfort is good.

    Unrelated question to Gamesky or someone else....since Bluetooth 6.0 has been announced, is it a big change from 5.3? Should i wait for devices with it?

    • @OfficialGamesky
      @OfficialGamesky  3 місяці тому +1

      When they make that jump to the next main number it usually introduces a new standout feature. BT 5.3 and 5.4 is still great though

      @OfficialGamesky thanks, i will wait then. Also will wait for the smartphones to come with Bluetooth 6.0.

    Not related to this review. I have purchased Engine 4 & Tozo nc7, based on your reviews very satisfied with both. To the question, audio technica such an exceptional brand does not get a lot of recognition? I have the wired m50x for quite a few years & love them. I saw the new BT2, like to hear your expert comments.Looking into the Baseus 30 max based on your review as well. Thank you!!

    Say what ya want but, Open Ear buds will never compete with closed ear buds. Great Review Though.

    • @alejandroelcid
      @alejandroelcid 3 місяці тому +2

      They are not meant to compete against closed earbuds, just like a Honda is not meant to compete against a sports car. Both styles are good, but you cannot compare them; apples to apples and oranges to oranges.

      Speak for yourself the last pair of Soundcore open earbuds are doing it big at a great price and I have a ton of earbuds and these are pushing my in ear earbuds, it's just a matter of time especially if you don't care for ANC, even the sound has improved dramatically since they have hit the scene.

      @@RJ_Uploads Paaalease stop I own a pair of Soundcore open ears and trust me I love Soundcore buds but the don't come near Capsule 3Pro+ or for that matter my lame little Soundcore P20i s

    • @RJ_Uploads
      @RJ_Uploads 3 місяці тому

      @smirkingguru I didn't say come close but for the time that these have been out they are killing whatever in battery life, comfort, and it's just a matter of time before the sound gets way better especially with the larger drivers and tuning, chief I own Sony xm5, master & dynamic mw07, bowers and Wilkins latest pair, Samsung buds 3 pro, plus 30 or 40 more pair of earbuds I'm not saying they are trumping anything but they have come a long way in a short period of time that I will much rather have these on as an everyday pair work horses than the in ear anyway of the week.
      I purchased earbuds every other week just because lol, what you named off is probably sitting on my shelf or in a a box in my house because I don't use them anymore, in always looking for the next best thing for myself, don't hate because something is new out and threatening your way of listening to music.
