I know the book said "All Corvettes are Red" but to my eye, white shows the lines off the best. This one checks all the boxes for me. Thank you High Octane Classics, Super Shane, and Mr Magnate. Merry Christmas to all of you ~ Chuck
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍 : Professor Steve is in the class 🍎🎓📝📏📓 , very cool to see one with a 427 ! Great video and Merry Christmas 🎄🎅🏼🧑🎄 to you and family & crews ! Cheers 🍸🍸
Steve, great video...Chevy produced 2,552 427 Convertibles in 2013, not 691,you could get them in any color that Chevy offered that year but over half of them were white with a blue stripe & blue interior & all had the fantastic 7.0 liter LS7 engine. All of them had a carbon fiber hood/front fenders/ & floor pans, manual 6sp trans only. The dry sump system takes 11 quarts of oil BTW
Correct, 2013 with the VIN (from the HOC website) for the win: 1G1 for US made Chevrolet, Y for Corvette, 83 for Corvette convertible, D for manual seat belts and dual airbags, E for 7.0L (427 CID) V8 with MFI, aka "Plastic Fantastic Thunder", 0 is a check digit, D for the 2013 model year, 5 for Bowling Green, KY assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The BG plant has assembled all Corvettes since the middle of the 1981 model year and continues to do so today. The 7.0L engine is a pavement pounding, violently fast engine that hangs with the best in the world. Exterior paint is code 10 Arctic White.
Steve you are looking good. Merry Christmas to you and High Octane Classics!!

Nice collector car for Sunday drives if you're in a hurry. Thanks for the video, cars are always more than just a car.

Back when I was teaching, one of the other instructors had one, and let me drive it. Viscously fast!

How to make a great car sound and look better? Hire Steve
Hey Stevie Mags! 👍🏼👍🏼
7,000 RPM. It's a screamer.
Hi Steve, You mentioned that it was a small block. Isn't it a big block?
Running at 7K wore out the engine way too quickly. It paid to keep the RPM’s lower.
You are correct. Just because it can rev to 7,000 doesn't mean you should.
Make mine yellow! What about that Red Chevy II Nova?
2013…The last year a Corvette looked like a Corvette from behind…. R.I.P.
👍👍🇨🇦
