Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍 : Good afternoon Professor Steve 🍎🎓📝📐📓 since I was a kid loved this model ! Agin very informative & interesting 🍩☕️👀😎👍 ! Your looking good hope your coming along ! Best wishes.
Yup, 1960 model year with the VIN (from the HOC website) for the win: 0 for 1960 model year, 08 for Corvette, 67 for two door convertible, S for St. Louis, MO assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The St. Louis MO plant made Corvettes through mid 1981 and then production was transferred to Bowling Green, KY which is where they are still made today. The St. Louis plant mostly assembled trucks after the 1981 model year and finally closed in 1986. No tag, can't brag, but some can be figured out: 867 for Corvette, possible S for St. Louis, MO assembly, and 506A for Roman Red exterior paint.
I think I learned about a dozen things from this video, and I have watched so many Corvette videos. I can’t even tell you and I grew up in the era - I know a lot about them
I remember when that model first came out. I'm a euro-snob when it comes to cars, but that model of Corvette is a work of art -- right up there with the Jaguar XKE. That was also the color combo I loved.
Ever since I was a little kid tall enough to peek over the door I was always fascinated by that giant 150 mile an hour speedometer and that giant steering wheel. As a kid in the early 70s, looking at this, it was a mix of adrenaline and intimidation lol.
We always used to call the grab bar the "O.S. Handle", you can probably guess with O.S. stands for. Great looking 60, a proper Vette all the way around. Thank you as always High Octane Classics and Mr Magnante ~ Chuck
You had me there. There is metal on the car? Drivers side? Must be the door! Impact standard? Naw, not in 1960. He’s walking past the door! The rear quarter panel? No. That makes no sense. The fuel door? Ahhhhhh.
I’m a simple man. I see Steve, I click Like & I watch.

Had a buddy 40+years ago that had a 63. Sweet. But Steve made a strong case for a 60. And i love that it's a 4-speed and red.
Roman Red, Mel Brooks' favorite color.
I just love the C1 corvettes
Little red Corvette! If you ever make it to Bowling Green, the Corvette Museum is a must!!!! Looking great Steve!!!~
I'm as old as this car and I easily admit it looks way better than me. WTG Steve and High Octane Classics!
You really learn something from Steve

The G.M. stylists were artists in fiberglass.
Nice year
The days of Gemini and rocketry 😊
I was hoping you would tell us how to tell a '59 from a '60. That's something I never could figure out.
Didn't I see that car in the movie True Lies?😉
we called the jesus bar the oh-shxt bar!
