Had something similar happen to me. Was doing a pull to 160, then as I was decelerating I saw a CHP charger hauling ass to catch up to me. Pulls me over, doesn't give me a chance to talk as he emphasizes "I'm going to write you a ticket for 99 in a 65. If it was 100, you'd have points, jail, tow, suspension, etc etc." $700 ticket, but beats all of the other consequences.
