Have the same plenum but Phoenix Racing & it’s black. I put a phenolic spacer in between my head & plenum from Precision Raceworks. They say it doesn’t make a difference. But I don’t like the idea of the hot aluminum head & an aluminum plenum bolted together. It helps with IAT’s as well! Kinda common sense to me….😂 If you ever decide to go that route, save those extended studs…✌🏻🏁
I see what your getting at and I know about the spacer as well. The difference is very minimum as I asked a few people who used it. But at the same time it dose have a benefit with heat soak and slight cooler iats. I would probably run into some clearing issues if I ran it 😂
@@941garage Yeah I guess it’s a 50/50 kinda thing. It just makes a lot of sense to me & I know heat is the enemy when trying to make H.P. Shouldn’t have no clearance issues you already had a 1/2 inch port injection plate in there…😂🏁
Sounds like you need to look into the G series turbos from Garrett. You would be able to pick up a same overall size turbo or even a little smaller than the 3584RS you were after but flow enough to make over 1000hp
@@941garage i would imagine that would be perfect. Considering they made them much smaller it would be hard to not for the Gseries. Unless space isnt an issue then maybe its a different story. Keep us updated on what turbo you end up fitting
Yo! I wound up having to send my vader manifold back because of fitment issues, turns out yours was revised and mine wasnt. However, if you are getting rid of the vader kit, any way i can buy the downpipe off of you?
Idk if it will fit in the n53. This manifold is aluminum which is a lot stronger then plastic, but over all the stock plastic manifold works just as fine.
do i need to get port injection to upgrade the manifold, because I have been thinking about replacing the oem intake manifold but not to to sure how everything will go, and what brands do you recommend? (btw love the car man, looks beautiful, keep up the solid work and keep grinding.)
Were you able to find what plug would be needed to fit in the injector ports? I believe it’s out there but idk where to start looking as in terms of the name
@@manlikeghidorah1994 burger motorsport sells the plugs, where the injectors go if you just want the manifold and don’t plan on running the port injection.

Okay it might be a stupid Question, but my knowledge about fuel and shit is so wack, can you install such manifort with port injection, while runing only pump gas? Lets say RON 95 without issues, and if so, are there any benefits from it?
You can can definitely just run port injection with just pump gas. So let’s say you want to increase your boost pass the limit of your stock DI system. The port injection will help you with additional fueling needed.
@John Smith if you talking about the intake manifold then yes it is, its the same ebay/phoenix racing manifold that they all come from the same source just sold by different companies but all made in china.
They are all basically the same quality or product. I have a "deep motor" brand or whatever that looks exactly the same that has given me no issue for over a year. Just curious if those front facing intakes are any better flow but they seem to take up a ton of room.
They all come from the same place! I have a black one from Phoenix Racing. But this polished one, mine & the Black Market Parts are all the same. Black market Parts has meth bungs welded on the runners though! Best looking plenum in my opinion. I don’t care for the Doc Race one, it’s like a tank & cast aluminum. Not a fan of cast aluminum…✌🏻🏁
dude your car is soo sick man, I am happy that I came across your page. You got a new Sub!!!!!
Thanks man, stay tuned for a DIY motor build coming soon.

Would i have any issues if I leave the long studs?
I don't know if this is a dumb question but, are such intake manifolds built for turbo cars only or can I install them on an NA motor also?

Yes

Would this manifold fit on an n53 engine and what is the approximate boost of power from running a custom intake manifold on this engine?
