    Would you be willing to do an update video about any changes/ect things that you have modified since the installation?

    Hey man! Great walkthrough. Thanks for posting. Using some of the same concepts in my setup.

    How did you calculate the distance between the 8 inch absorption panels?

    Great walkthrough of the process! What are the room dimensions again? Did you have the dip @ 125Hz that Carl shows in his videos? Do you feel the one sub is sufficient? I too have many questions!

      Thanks! It's 8' - 4" wide and 14' - 6" at the longest part. Yes there was a small dip around there but it was not pronounced. I believe this was due to my desk being so close the monitors on the stands. In that small of a room the sub is more than sufficient and is turned down quite low.

    How did you decide on the crossover freq for the sub?

      I use Sonarwoks and did a sweep of the room with just the monitors and looked where they started to drop off on the low end and made the crossover just above that. In my case it was at 80hz so I started there. I did a couple more sweeps with the sub on and tried different combinations of the adjustments on the monitor and sub (output level and low pass) until I had a smooth transition. I know there are other ways to do this task but that's what I did.

    Any measurements?

      Yes, I ran Sonarwoks and I eliminated the 60hz buildup that was causing me major problems before. The sweep was almost flat above 1k and everything below is under 6db of variation which was easily corrected with Sonarwoks.

    • @greganikin7003
      @greganikin7003 5 років тому +1

      @@scotty606 Well, all your low end corrections with Sonarworks don't do anything, because you have a room modes that simply are not fixable with EQ, but 6 db is' a great result!

      @@greganikin7003 You're mistaken Greg. They can totally be corrected with EQ.
