So, we were ashamed that we never used the convection part of our microwave oven and decided to take charge and learn how to use it. We wanted to show you how to do it also.

It's funny most people including us, don't use it! We actually had a large oven installed after we purchased our Montana and it always burned things on bottom. We lost two large drawers by going with oven as well. On our next trailer we'll definitely try the convection. Thanks for sharing.
I feel you completely! I have been scared of using it and now we have a new rig with no oven but if does have a micro convection unit... So I have no choice! I even have a convection oven at home and have only recently started using that option. It's so silly that we smart folk let things intimidate us so! 😂❤️ Thanks for the vid!! Read the manual but still couldn't figure out how to set the timer on the convection cooking. Your video helped us discover what we were doing wrong. We weren't waiting for the oven to heat up to the desired temperature before setting the timer. Thanks. Our oven is an Insignia but looks exactly like your Furrion.
Great video. Just upgraded to a 5th wheel that has the convection oven. Biscuits are a staple in our family. Glad you cooked biscuits lets me know it can be done, and that they get brown. Don Again great video, and thanks foe the info
OMG! I am so happy I found you guys on UA-cam (I just subscribed). This video was so helpful. I have never used my convection oven (4 years), and a few weeks ago I decided to give it a try. I found the manual that came with the RV but it was not helpful. I read an article, but still not exactly what I needed. And then I found you today! This video was perfect. I had no idea about the pre-heating and the lights showing when it was at temperature. This video showed me how easy it is to use the convection oven and I cannot wait to give it a try. By the way, I could not stop staring at your adorable grandson!

Yeah, I don’t even know if I have one! Won’t that be a pleasant surprise! I need to check. I assume it makes less heat than the oven, so it would be great for baking those biscuits in the summer.
Do yourself a favor and buy the pillsbury frozen butter tasting or buttermilk biscuits. You’ll never use the canned biscuits again. Good job of finally getting over the anxiety of trying the convection side. I know I did. Now my oven is used for storing skillets, pans and other items. 😂
Thanks for the great video! I have a few questions. 1. When you made the biscuits and had to put them back in for an additional 2 minutes, did you have to reset the temperature again or does the convection heat stay on and you just set the timer for another 2 minutes and then how does the oven stop heating? 2. When using the Combi setting can you keep the metal racks in the oven? Are they made of something that isn't going to cause sparking? 3. I watched a different youtube video on the furrion convection/microwave oven and the woman said to use a reduced heat setting of 25 degrees from what you would set a regular oven, so if a recipe calls for 400 degrees, set the Furrion to 375 degrees. Do you find that to be the case with the things you have used the convection oven for? Thanks again!
1. We just put the biscuits back in and set the timer. The temp. stayed the same. 2. Yes you can keep the metal racks in when using the convection side. We have never set it to combi so not sure about the rack on that setting. 3. We just go by the package temp. and cook. We keep an eye on it and take it out when the item is to our liking. Because the hot air is forced by the fan convection cooks faster than conventional ovens. Example if your directions call for 350 in a conventional oven then convection would be set to 325 for comperable time results.
I just wonder what their amazement was when they got the RV and realize that the pedal on the right make rv go and the pedal on the left make rv slow down. How do the little pedal know what to do? 🤔

I love my convection oven and ordered my travel trailer without a propane oven. Gave me more storage and less worry about propane.
