Great demo, I bought a second hand set of Zildgian A and K cymbals after watching this. I’ve got an old Yamaha kit that I acquired when a friend passed away.
I intend to teach myself and then my eight year old son how to play drums.

Actually I think it's somebody knowing how to play that ride that really shows you how good it is
@@Shurmstick good call...considering A's were used by a huge roster of the best drummers in the world. for decades...it probably should be mandatory for all drummers to start on an A sweet Pack before you get to find "your" sound.

Sounds like the ride could be miced a little louder. I can hear the bell Pretty well for some reason. I'm listening through Skullcandy headphones and with out headphones, same result. Good playing from what I can tell.
that's how it sounds with a kit...they use overhead mics to capture the room...it's just that the mids are scooped out where the stick sound is...check out a K con at 2500 ish grams @ 20"...much more defined stick
