I enjoy your videos and the area you ride. I live in Redmond and take my 690r out for a few rides in the mountains in Eastern Oregon. Be safe and ride,,
I DGAF about wheelies, I was happy to watch a solid adventure ride, if you learn a bit more about the places you are riding and recite that as you are riding, that would add a lot of depth to the video, I am vaguely familiar with the area, have hauled a bunch of logging equipment out there over the years, and I sailed Puget sound for a long time. Been watching a lot of these rides as I have been missing my XR650L. If you lean more into this kind of content, I will watch it.
Excellent feedback. Thank you! I do enjoy a good wheelie, but ultimately it's all about exploration. I'm not really the type to research an area, and regurgitate stuff, but I will keep in mind that there is an audience that may want some more detail. I do try to add in tidbits in the edit. Thank you for watching!
It really just depends on how you're approaching it. If you're used to dirt bikes, you'll be happier on a 690! If coming from cruisers, the wind will be a new challenge.

How comfy would the 690 be on the way home from this ride?
