back again playing with the ford tx3 turbo just the front wheel drive after the dyno she needs more boost so we are swapping over a custom pipe manifold and a bigger turbo

The Honda radiator will cope just fine, I've run them in them before even with a evo 2L engine in one. With the b6t I fit the a/c and p/s in with a full 3" dump in mine by using a evo8 turbo (evo 4-9 all the same basically) in the stock location as the exhaust housing flange on the turbo angles downward not vertical like most, so makes an easier exhaust path with large diameter piping to clear a/c pump
I would love to but as always work has taken over its 10.27 now and I just got home and tomorrow will be about the same but I will get time again soon ...I ordered a heap of parts some are in and some are wrong ..I got new wheels
Hey mate I’ve got a ford laser txi and I’m thinking of the ping it and I’m just curious if you know if a tx3 turbo kit will bolt of the same onto a txi
@@KingatowCrew did i do a good job wrapping it and the turbo is a kkr and some number comes after the kkr but can't remember off the top of my head 380 maybe, i still have the catalogue here i will dig it out and send you the specs and it was used and on a blokes drift car a Nissan something with a sr20 in it so it got thrashed but they didn't have it on for that long they went a little bit bigger but i think it's good for 500hp from memory and try and clean up the split fire plugs and their twin cored leads can handle bigger spark and the msd coil spewing that the battery top plate that i made and modified the two rods with the hooks on one end and a wing nut goes on the other end, they were sitting on that custom plate that the battery goes on and the coil is mounted to but they would have fallen off on the way home and it was a small battery but easy to get some longer rod things and cut another alloy plate with two holes to hold the battery down if you want to leave it like that, i just thought it was neater especially after removing the standard air box and putting a pod on
when I edited the video I came up with a plan to make a offset high mount manifold ...but for now I will get it going and improve on it for the awd tx3...but yes I might look at a astra pump also I brought a ford focus for the duratec engine for my escort and I noticed they have a similar elec pump on them
@@KingatowCrew that they do, beauty is that you can put the reservoir and pump anywhere you want and run the lines to the rack. Alot of old classics and skid cars are going that way, due to you only have to have power to the pump for it to work, also doesn't cavitate on high rpm. Best of luck, loving this build!
I have a astra pump on my blown jag up under the front gaurd ...I doneca video on wiring and fitting them years ago ...I put it on a separate switch to make it easier to push around lol
I enjoy your videos, but I can't help thinking everything you do is half done ,I'll get it going and fix that latter . Do it right the first time or don't do it till you have everything needed to complete the job at hand 👌
I work a full time job running a busy towing business so when or if I get time I work on my cars I think you are overlooking the tow truck I built and drive daily red jag with chev convention ss50 ute blown jag with 671 blower black liberty vn formula road tripped to ullaru 300zx z31 done and sold blue hr sedan done and sold just to name a few plus all the cars you don't see that are just normal passenger cars that get done and sold but yes I have alot going on and yes I go from car to car but I am only 1 person and I do what I want when I want and ask yourself how many cars have you built in the last few years as well as run a busy towing business...I have addressed this crap in a previous video ....I hope this clears the tears up for you and if that seems a bit salty I don't know how many times I have explained what I am doing and my end goals .....and its coments like this that make me wounder why I bother doing videos to share ...maybe your right I should not make the effort and just enjoy what I do and not bother with the videos
Justin brown, I dont think you understand what dealing with cars day in day out is like..... personally the last thing I want to do is get stuck on the same project for months on end. Also lots of the time you can have all the bits you need to find one bit doesn't fit, so you can't put the next 100 bits on and you've got a 3 month wait for that one wee bit. You can also often not know what you do or dont need until until you've lived with it for awhile. This is why often a project is never finished.
I still have it ...I am selling it but with what has been going on behind the senses at workshop I have not been able to get it in to do a final check over before I sell ...but soon

Also yer those manifolds are prone to cracking i had 2 crack in my TX3.
It's getting there, bit by bit.

You could always use an astra p/s pump to make some clearance for your a/c compressor? Just an idea
