- A video of one of the protesters at UCLA went viral when he pleaded with the media while filming his arrest. 22-year-old Ryan, a Jewish-American, was beaten and detained before he was released. And he now says he will go back to continue his protest.

I want someone to come out publicly and say the bad guys are the governments not the people of either country. It's the governments that are hurting people and starting Wars with each other and not supporting each other. The people are powerless to stop it. Let's not hate each other but focus our anger on the government's. They are the cause of this mess
As much as I'd like to agree it's only the governments who want this carnage I can't help but point out the views of Israeli citizens. In polls, a great majority of them believe not enough destruction is being caused in Gaza. Most of Israeli society thinks what Gaza has gone through isn't enough. I've done myself the horror of watching through interviews of some Israelis and every time I think I'm going to vomit. My blood goes cold listening to the way they cheer on the suffering of Palestinians. I am aware there are peace-loving Israelis who want nothing more than peace for both sides but unfortunately, they are the minority in their country. The majority think more suffering must be inflicted upon Palestinians.
On the Palestinian's side, the trauma they faced will not go away with peace. The people hurt by this brutal massacre will want revenge and rightfully so. Just a few days ago I watched a video of a young Palestinian boy screaming with tears how he couldn't wait to grow up, become a fighter, and hurt the soldiers who hurt him back. My heart broke for him, watching the way he screamed in tears for revenge imagining that could have been my younger brother. He is just one of thousands in Palestine.
Violence always breeds more violence.

Well yeah the governments are evil but the citizens of those countries are not evil. What I have come to realize is that a lot of the citizens of all countries will believe what their governments tell them to believe. If the government says that country is evil than a lot of people will believe that without actually asking themselves how can millions of people be evil? If I was King I would take all the leaders of every country and put them in a big arena and let them fight out their disagreements in hand-to-hand combat . At least they won't be sending their citizens into battle to get killed. Bottom line as I see it it's the people running the governments of a planet Earth that are the bad guys and not its citizens

The foul governments of all of those countries are absolutely reprehensible. Nevertheless, I cannot blame them for defending their own people/territory. We would be doing exactly the same, were that to be an American embassy (or building which happened to be adjacent to one) that had been attacked by right wing radicals. In the United States, you have a right to freedom of speech, but not a right to vandalize, grafitti, barricade public spaces and block students from getting to classes based on their religion. These demonstrators had to be removed and the University allowed it to go on too long.
@@drichardson007 Actually those who vandalize and grafitti can be charged for such but removing those students IS against USA Law. They have a right of free speech which means they cannot be trespassed of a University for camping on it. USA Law is very clear as in Marsh v. Alabama and also Moss v. University of Notre Dame Du Lac. There constitutional rights have been violated and hopefully they sue the Universities and police for doing so as well as criminal charges against them.
