My wife just called 2 in and they let her pick them up. It was the dumbest blahck blahck sound I ever heard and thought she was traded. But it freaking worked. She was in regular clothes just walking in the woods. 2 females walked right up to her and she picked them up and pet them. If I hadn't seen it myself, I'd never believed it.
you're the first person I've ever heard of , or seen that can do that. I'm going to practice it but I know im going to blow my voice several times but if i can get it down and NOT have to buy calls or gear to carry, brother you'd be a legend in my book.

It's been a few years- so if you've come up with anymore "tips" on this, I'll owe you that first gobbler that stuts in on a string. Thanks for this nice tutorial. I've been hunting for exactly this! Right away the yelps and cuts I have bee working on sounded better with your tips. You make me feel confident I can expand into other calls and I really appreciate the added info about which calls to mix for authenticity and when. Well done!

Ever been tested for Neanderthal DNA percentages? Contrary to popular image, they had a very unique vocal tract and could produce some extremely high pitched squeaky sounds when they wanted to!
That being said, I tried your method, the only thing I about called was my dentist when my dentures flew out and almost cracked on the floor. If only some wild animal was attracted by smoker's cough, I'd be slaying them left and right!
