It‘s so weird, I feel like the JP tracks really suit the games perfectly, but just don‘t go with the visuals at all, unlike the western songs which match the video really well and are more hype.
Honestly, the fan intros are able to do so without spoiling too much. I get it, RGG does not want to ruin the experience but if I were to look at these games’ intros, I might have some idea, but not really. You know what I’m sayin’?
For Yakuza 0 and the original one I say yes the rest are toss-ups for me Like I love yakuza's 3 Japanese intro. I feel like that goes for the theme of it a lot better
Surprisingly, I actually do favor a majority of the english intros a lot more than the original Japanese ones. The exception is Yakuza 0. The japanese intro for that one fits more to in describing the era of Japan known as the Bubble. I sorta do kinda like the japanese op for 3 because it gave more of an early 90s anime op vibe for sure, but for Kiwami 1, 4, and 5, the voiceless english op works. Its probably because the soundtrack they used for those games intros gaves the impresson of the game being pure epic action, which gets me pumped up before I even click start.

Years later, Yakuza 1's intro is still awesome. I can never get enough of Receive You.

LJ opening is good without being a spoilerfest, kind of opening you would see in a shonen anime
