I pass like 50% of the time, usually when the line is too long or if i have a light out or something, and nothings happened. Ive had DoT inspections, ive been pulled over and its never been brought up. So whats going on?
What if u got a pre pass and the lights are flashing for all trucks to pull in? Do u still pull in? And another one is, what if it says pull in unless weight station is closed? how do you know if its closed or open with no lights signaling u in and no trucks are pulling in? Thanks if u can answer for me, still new with weight stations..
If you're instructed to bypass but the sign says to pull in it's up to you for me I bypass as they don't really send anyone to get you, If it says to pull in unless closed you exit to the scale but if it's closed just keep moving, If you didn't get any instructions on to bypass or not just like before if it's open you go in it's up to the scale house whether you take the bypass lane or get on the scale with arrow signs, if closed again keep going
Honestly, it would drive me crazy too. Prepass say 15 min on their website, but i haven't had any experience with them so i just said what i found. Maybe you can adjust how long it stays lit, I don't know
@@trxexpress have no idea? It came like that with mine :) I find the lights harder to see on the PrePass Elite as they are smaller on a white background.
What if I get a green light on my transponder but the Electronic signal boards tell me to exit to the weight station, what do I do in this case? Am I clear of bypassing if I get pulled over by an officer?
I had that happen in North Carolina. I pulled in just to be safe and told the officer I was a bit confused over it. Turns out the road sensors flagged a possible flat tire on the trailer so I was pulled in. Tires and paperwork checked and I was on my way again.
I have to pull in if I got green light and the weight scale just say open and not prepass site?
i just turn my other cheek and close my eyes when i pass lol
Hahahahaha .... been there done that!

I used NorPass. It covers all Prepass states and 7 others.
Thanks

I have never seen the green light on for more than 1-2 min….. 15 would drive me nuts.

Prepass is not needed. Why on earth would you want to give the dot a heads up on your status? The whole thing doesn’t make any sense
New sub.
Awesome thank you!
