@@crispy9175 what servers do you play on ? very dependant on the time of day and week. During the weekdays peak time EU there is maybe 4 full servers since this update came out last time I checked 1 being American. Weekend should be more servers full.
I still remember watching some old Vade's video when he was a sniper standing on an edge of a forest, next to him some 200m of a field and then another forest and the sound echo was absolutely incredible. I really felt like I was there. And when planes go around you, man, that's beyond incredible.
@@keenmate9719 I just don’t understand the massive disparity between Squad and this, and every single other shooter game. This audio is what they should all be attempting to emulate.
Why did they have to also replicate the HIDEOUS hammer-like grip on the Berthier and the atrocious cylincer spin used on the Colt M1917 and Webley MK.VI in Beyond the Wire ? .
PLEAS READ THIS ALL: I have discovered a thing. Ingame audio sound is CLIPPED on the engine level. Have been recording ingame audio with audacity for a week. But it is possible to fix this by just changing audio levels. DO THIS: Change audio effects level to 25% while maintaining master at 100%. Disable music and UI sounds. Adjust receiving VOICE channels to 50% level or below. Then put your headphone's in maximum volume level. Dynamic range is at least 12dB more. You will certain go deaf [VERY LOWD] by a tank exploding or a falling shell while hearing someone's foots on ground. WILL MAKE A VIDEO ON THAT TO EXPLAIN MORE.
Absolutely not squad is way way more polished and didn’t just sit there on a shelf for 2 years with no development. They are both totally different games tho, one is ww2 and the other modern day. If you don’t like HLL’s arcadyness then sq44 is for you. However it is like comparing apples to orange with the 2 squad title, but Squad is 10x’s better than squad 44.
Not to mention squads 15+ full non modded servers and the fast number of modded servers you can join. Maybe by the end of the year sq44 will truly come back to life and have more than 8 servers with 1-3 full ones.
@@infowarrior6644 Squad is a lot worse than Squad 44. It has molasses gameplay. You'll barely see any troops. Everyone just gets in armor with their squads and you will barely see proper infantry combat. if you do see infantry combat, everyone is camping because they have scopes and there is barely anyone attacking objective. At the end of Squad games the entire server has 1-5 kills, in Squad 44 there are FAR more kills in a round and the pace of infantry combat is intense and constant on every point and off point as well with skirmishes all over. You'll see lots of players with upwards of 20-30-40+ kills in a round. In Squad you have chain zombie reviving. Headshots don't mean anything, flanking a squad and catching them off guard doesn't mean anything, people just need one person to chain revive one another and they're back on their feet. Squad players' only retort is "if you're killed during grey screen that's dead dead'". They dumbed down the game for casuals to make them feel immortal and hand hold them. It's sad because I've never seen a more overrated game in my entire life. it used to be good, ironically it used to be like Squad 44, then they decided to slow it down and make infantry nearly immortal.
this is where you can agree to disagree, I will say you get way way more kills in squad 44 but I never see anyone camping especially with the ICO that came out and jumping to around 25k active players. The overhaul made things way way harder than it used to be. I will say it’s harder to spot enemies in squad than in squad 44 but that’s because infantry doesn’t just wear green or black like they did up until the Vietnam war era. I would also say you can do the chain revive in SQ44 as well since everyone gets 1 revive they can use(squad you get 2). Plus in squad if you run around shoot die respawn you don’t have all your ammo so you can’t just run around like a headless chicken like in squad 44. Shoot the tiger in the ass die spawn 40 meters away shoot it again etc. that can’t happen in squad unless you have copious amounts of supply for that AT. However this is comparing apples to oranges they are trying to be 2 different games one is ww2 the other is modern day. I would highly recommend that you retry Squad with the infinity combat overhaul the game has been vastly improved. I would say before both games had the same type of combat you could run and gun with no problem cause there are no real penalties for running around other than getting shot. If anything watch some vids of the game now.
Heya Dwight, Since IMO you are one of the deadliest mofo's in this game with the bolt action rifles, have you noticed any significant changes to the gunplay for better or worse?
Hey mate, thanks I am pretty deadly with it aha but yes I'm not sure if you mean this patch or since MA took over. This patch the carbine was nerfed its takes 2hits to kill now but its bugged should only be 2hits to kill past 100 which is still shit they didn't tell us testers until after the update dropped. There is a little more shake when you shoot the bolt actions but it doesn't affect my aim I am still hitting shots. The Lee enfield is the best bolt action now because I will tell you a secret you can now do a half reload just dont fully empty the 10 rounds leave 1 and it will do a animation that loads 1 x 5 clip instead of 2. Insane reload and fire rate and you stay aiming down sights while cycling the bolt its so good. I would say overall i feels the same maybe slightly worse because of the slight camera shake when you shoot it doesn't effect my aim but that's subjective. I might do some tutorials on aiming and how to get good with bolt actions fast so some tips i do.

The sound design is incredible. The scraping of the revolver cylinders is unreal.

Yeah this is the main problem with the game unfortunately. Devs have alot of work ahead of them.

They both are “good” games just one is modern day one is WW2 and one has a massive community and the other sadly doesn’t.
