Lovely brotherhood. The buffaloes acted like a real saviour. The pride of Lions very quickly realised that it is a lost case. Without using their teeth the way the buffaloes handle Lions are worthy of great admiration. Hats off and lots of love ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
that pride is too big and honestly failing to take that calf and its mother is failure of the highest level ,am buffalo fan but this was a lucky escape
@@CatErpillar618 There is science pointing out that lion hunting success rate stops improving after just 3 hunting partners in general. Statistically speaking most of the lions in the video were dead weight.
If you take note of the background, you would notice that the later part (buffalo herd) of the video is not a continuation of the early part (a few buffalo defending a calf). They are 2 different scenes and shot at different locations on the savannah. The calf might actually have been killed subsequently instead of what the title of this video says.
I wish the buffalo would go for the lions more often. Lions harass them terribly and the herd often just stands looking threatening instead of going to the rescue. Great to see.
Poor lion who wants to be too clever and get into that buffalo stampede. When tempers flare and the most powerful and aggressive male buffaloes come out, not even an entire pride of lions could stand up to them. There are many videos of lions who wanted to be heroes and ended up as volleyballs.
They hunt to survive I get that, but at least lions know when they are defeated. It wouldve been suicide to continue fighting with that many buffaloes.

Damn that was a Huge wall. Lol the male Lion was probably like "Well that escalated rather quickly"
Great footage. I like when prey get better against their predators
Now that was awesome! It never ceases to amaze me how sophisticated animals are.
The lions knew when to let go, buffalo herds are no joke
For one thing, I have been told, you can't roller skate in a buffalo herd.
@@ddebenedictis why would someone want to do that 😂

Valid point, but apparently Roger Miller tried, and lived to sing about it 😂

1:23 my god look at those horns together! & a lion in 1 frame! could be one of the greatest wildlife photo of all time
There is always that one Buffalo uncle who poses for a brave photo and run back to retreat "my beef is too delicate to be devoured by lions" 😂
What a rescue by the buffalos in defense against a pride of lions.
Another great video. Got to love it when the tables turn. Though I don't take sides when it comes to predator-prey relations.

How is it a failure if 100 massive buffalo's comes over. They wouldn't have failed if the lone buffalo had no back up
Same like human concept if there are too many people working for one thing, some will be useless
Yes the lions should have acted quick when the child and mother were alone, but it's rest assuring to see them survive not into clutches of lion

What do you expect when a bunch of buffaloes come charging at you

Same video different angles and remember this is edited and compressed, probably lasted more than an hr
Look at that Wall of Beef

🤣😂😂 @ volleyballs
Lions like: Hmmm...well this is disappointing.
Herd: "I suggest you go vegan because you do not want this beef" 🐂
Loins: Baby calf, we will soon meet you for another stand-off.
WOW LOOK AT THE HUGE SIZE OF THE RONGAI MALE!!!
Subhana Allah, glory be to God
Yeah, it’s good that the Buffalo got away. Sometimes the lions have to go without.
Now whose king?
No calf-steaks today ladies.
She ur turkey mouth
I feel sorry for the lions because they are hungry and do not hunt for fun.

Next time my favorite pride. Where is the wildebeest?
Strength in numbers wins hands down all the time!!!!!
Lions have a hunting success rate about 30%, lower due in part to the obvious intelligence of Buffalo and other species!
I’m usually for the lion.. but not this time.
❤❤❤❤❤
If only I had that to count on.
Thats what we call in the Philippines, "Bayanihan" meaning all participate in a huge problem
