I had ovarian cancer - endometriodal adenocarcinoma in 2018. CA 125 and CA 19-9 were sky high back then. Went thru surgery and chemo. Beat the cancer and tumor markers are now extremely low. Some time after treatment, I developed Type 2 diabetes. In March 2021, my CT scan showed a side branch IPMN. Began a ketogenic diet to get my diabetes under control. Cut the A1C in half thru the ketogenic diet. Lost a ton of weight. Now not even considered pre-diabetic. Had another CT scan in October 2021, IPMN remained unchanged so it was definitely a benign cyst. Fast forward to May 2024, had another CT scan. Several doctors and radiologist have reviewed my results, and they can't even see the IPMN on my pancreas anymore. Results list my pancreas as normal appearing. Even the cysts found on my liver and kidney could no longer be seen. Liver is no longer a fatty liver and is now considered unremarkable. Liver function tests are now normal and have been for a couple years now. Kidney function tests have improved considerably. I must be doing something right.
Had acute pancreatitis at age 23 due to very high triglycerides left me with an undiagnosed pseudocyst for 6 years until it went from bad to worst. At 29 had multiple flares and each was worst, lost 75lbs in 2 months and became borderline anemic. I was told it was a small cyst on the tail of my pancreas but all I needed was norco pills 💊. Went to 8 different hospitals and they just prescribed more narcotics saying it is what it is. It’s not until I bumped into a real doctor that could perform surgeries of that caliber that really took a look with double contrast ct scan and removed my spleen that was damaged, the pseudocyst and reshaped my pancreas and removed my gallbladder. Before even if I modified my diet I would get flares with water because a 12cm pseudocyst was pressing up against my stomach. That surgeon returned the quality of life and I feel much better. The biggest thing is not to give up good luck to everyone.

@@kellysims5732 I feel better, after I was released from the hospital I haven't been back to the emergency room not one single time. On December 1st it's going to be a year since I started working. You are never the same after a surgery like that but I feel better without the cyst, no more flares.

A Mexican woman, we know, living in Southern California had severe Leukemia and told she had short time to live. She called her mother in Mexican village who rejected her death and began sending her powdered rattle snake through mail, and told to sprinkle on her food 2 times a day. She was cured from leukemia and doctors were baffled. She did not want to tell them she never toolk the medications they gave herr only the snake powder. 20 plus years she is healthy and no trace of leukemia.
What symptoms do others have? Mine are getting worse. I swear this all started when I had my gallbladder removed. I was barely out of surgery and my Dr. said " Look at this picture, you can see how diseased it was." I said to him " How would I know? I never saw a healthy one!" I live in a rural area and you really want to be in a big city.

Looking forward to watching this. My wife family is riddled with cancer. Her parents and a maternal aunt passed from pancreatic cancer. Her maternal uncle has it, now. A paternal aunt was just diagnosed with breast cancer. A half-brother (same mother) died of colon cancer. Ridiculous. Looking for environmental factors. Today, after months of symptoms, she was diagnosed with abnormal pancreatic parenchymal structures, specifically hyperechoic strands. She has a 1.5mm cyst on the pancreas head, and ipmi sidechaines. Her pancreas does not seem to be draining correctly (220 fluid) and gallstones. Waiting on some other test results, but I'm praying it's pancreatitis controllable with diet.
Please control diet . And ask for cholestyramine packs to absorb fat and aid in digestion

I have a cyst on the top of my pancreas, I have a nagging annoying pain on the right hand side. It’s in no way acute pain. I just had a full MRI on my pancreas and I’m waiting to see my Dr. I think it’s just a case of keeping an eye on it. Thank you Dr for this video.

Thank Monsanto but of course she can't say that or she'll get fired quick because the FDA makes too much money off of people getting ill then they sell the medicines to the hospitals or they have 1 of their branches do it. No, I don't think God blesses deceit. People just throw God bless around like it doesn't really have a meaning and if you read scripture than you would know otherwise.

Thank you for this video. My dad was diagnosed stage 4 pancreatic cancer following a car accident. Up until then, he had no idea. He lived 22 months post diagnosis. He was a heavy drinker early in life and a 2-3 pack a day smoker. My cousin is in his 40’s and was diagnosed stage 1 and did the whipple. He was ok for 2 years and now it is back and not going well. I am going to undergo genetic testing I hope after Covid as the cousin shows some kind of markers.

Colleen may I ask you if you are Jewish ✡? There seems to be a higher risk for Jews . I had great friend that was Jewish and he died of pancreatic cancer. My 2nd uncle also died of it. I have chronic pancreatitis and a lesion over 3cm on the head of my pancreas. It is extremely extremely painful. I have to get checked every 6months. But the pandemic messed that up. Its been almost 2 yrs since I had a scope. Best wishes to you!

Outstanding, I learned a lot. I have an IPMN that’s growing at about 5mm every 6 months, the doctors seem to be taking a wait and see stance. The problem is I’ve already been through prostate cancer, so I am understandingly apprehensive.

Please tell us what is the third type of IPMN and the risk of cancer.
I had 3 admissions in 2 months due to pancreatitis at 36 years old. I use to be a heavy drinker. Amalayse was over 500. I have a pseudocyst but its not mature enough to intervene yet. A month later im constantly getting pain in my stomach, really loud rumbling and no matter what painkillers i take, im in pain 24/7. Anyone ever had a pseudocyst removed? Im hoping mine is removed soon as its just constant bloating, vomiting couple times a week. NHs in UK is screwed atm so not getting a lot of help

Please the cyst can be drained. I have had three pancreatic cysts and the tail of my pancreas removed. There’s no need to perform the whipped procedure unless it’s cancerous. Please don’t do it

thank you really well explained my wife was to have gallbladder removal but op was cancelled because they did a scan and found a lump in her pancreas as they put it and it more important to deal with this first my wife has lost two stone in weight although she eats little snacks is this a bad cyst could you give me an answer please as it is ongoing

Just an update on me. I am now a Type Two Diabetic now because of having half of my pancreas removed. I have developed another cyst on my pancreas but it’s totally benign and is post surgical. Basically After surgery I had a large fluid collection near my pancreas which is common. It eventually developed into a pseudocyst. However its growing quickly so it may need drained. It’s 5cm big now.

Doing good they had to removed half of my pancreas April 24th 2019. They removed my gallbladder spleen and half the pancreas. Ended up NOT being precancerous at all! E en though it was growing very fast. Now where they cut into my pancreas I developed a pseudocyst but it’s just from the operation
I'm having that in November.... Hopefully they won't be removing anything.

I have an IPMN at the head of the pancreas and they think now a second smaller one near the duct which is monitored once a year but recently started developing cysts on my kidneys. Are these likely caused by the same cause or totally coincidental? We really have no experts in the Atlanta area so they have patients like me see liver specialists. Originally I did see one at Emory who was going to do an endoscopy to check the cyst more closely and possibly biopsy it but he took a job somewhere else and that never got done, so they are taking their best guess at how the IPMN is doing by MRI and Ultrasound externally. Is this sufficient monitoring or should they have moved forward with the procedure to take closer pictures and biopsy the cyst? I am wondering whether I should push for that or not.

Hi Carol, Pancreatic cysts are very common, and the majority are not cancerous, but some may be, and others may be precancerous. There are several different types of pancreatic cysts ranging from benign to malignant. The key is to determine the malignant risk of your specific cyst. If you feel strongly, we'd recommend you see another doctor for a second opinion.

I drank 750mL of cheap Vodka everyday for two years and eventually developed Pancreatitis. While being in the hospital for two weeks I was told that I also have a cyst. I have gotten better and that was 9 months ago. I can eat fatty foods with no pain or discomfort... a month ago I relapsed and had alcohol again with no problems. To be exact, since a month ago I have had alcohol every day (two beers, and few shots of whiskey). Again, with no problems... but I can say this. These last few days I have felt leakage or just movement in my upper stomach area. Almost how a stomach feels when it’s empty. Anyway, I want to stop drinking. But I know I can be a responsible drinker. I guess my real question is, if I were to have a few drinks a day, is cancer a for sure thing? Will someone like me who keeps this up, for sure develop a cancer? It’s a silly question I know...

True that i made my abdominal ultrasound yearly and my pancreas appeared only now 2019 that i have a cyst. I felt devastated. Running all the test now with MRI. If only if i am in the US but not, and i am here in Italy.

My mom was diagnosed with pseudocyst Then doing surgeon to make bypass from the cyst into the intestine. But after 3 months, it was actually turned into pancreatic cancer! But unfortunately we didn't know it, so when the symptoms came, it was already at stage 4. And only need 2 months to make her pass away
And my question is, why does this pseudocyst changed into pancreatic cancer? Bcs the doctor who's in charge never known this before too that he had worked as digestive and oncology doctor for 15 years.
I'm living in Indonesia, so our technology and knowledge aren't that great than USA, UK, Aussie, and other developed countries.

@@lindagarcia8712 A pancreatic cyst is a collection of fluid on or in the pancreas. Many pancreatic cysts are benign and are not associated with any symptoms, but some may be cancerous or pre-cancerous so it’s important to see your doctor if you have a diagnosed or suspected pancreatic cyst.
Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNETs) are formed in the hormone-making (islet) cells of the pancreas. Most are nonfunctional, which means they do not cause symptoms. Some PNETs secrete hormones and are referred to as functional PNETs. These hormones can cause low blood sugar, diarrhea, indigestion, and abdominal pain. Functional PNET types include insulinoma, gastrinoma, and glucagonoma, among others. PNETs can also cause yellowing of skin and whites of eyes (jaundice) and may be benign (not cancer) or malignant (cancer).
Cysts and other benign tumors can form in the pancreas, and some can be precursors to pancreatic cancer, including intraductal papillary-mucinous neoplasms (IPMNs). Often, IPMNs and other benign lesions are found when a patient is being scanned for an unrelated medical reason. Depending on the location and type of the growth, your doctor may want to either surgically remove the lesion or continue monitoring it to ensure that it does not become malignant.
