Yes. His words are very comforting...especially those about gratitude and grief. Finding the joy among the sorrow is an ongoing challenge. The holidays highlight that challenge because of the great memories of Christmas' past.

Where was Cardinal Dolan, Christmas time during the COVID crisis ... Closing the doors and doing what the secular State told him to do ... So many souls were cast out of God's house of prayer by Cardinal Dolan .... He trusted in the State, not God ...

What is the message of Christmas? A savior was born, the gift of salvation through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
If Cardinal Dolan had quoted Acts 4, he likely would never have been invited to an NBC morning show ever again.

12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
The world wants multiple ways and they want all religions to led to God. But they don't.
At best this Christmas message is ambiguous. What actually can this religious figure say in this pubic arena? His superior Pope Francis has been more direct in condemning the campaign Netanyahu has continued to destroy the lives of the Palestinians of Gaza. How many of those 20,000 people deserved to die? How many more will die in the weeks to come? God help us all, everyone one of us, as we seek the Light that this holiest of our Christian religious holidays promises. Make us instruments of Peace.
