Very clear instruction once again. 😁 This is not a shot I've ever tried but at least I know the best way to do it. If you are still looking for ideas, I'd also be really interested in seeing how the pro's do a defensive backhand lift off a smash to both corners of the court. This is normally seen in doubles.

Very nice, great clear explanation. One shot you guys could also cover some time is when the shuttle passes too fast right over your head, and then you hit the shuttle while your racquet arm is behind your back from a low to high position. So basically when the shuttle has already passed you, whipping the racquet up behind your head, if you know what I mean. Probably not as useful in an actual match though. I've only seen it very rarely in pro play, and only personally done it when someone throws/hits the shuttle to me so I can serve.

Kevin Sukomuljo has done it so many times I lost the count. so it's useful in match. Although I have seen very few players doing that too in MD.

@@BadmintonInsight You talked about the hips for the generation of power. I meant whether you need to remove the hips away from the shuttlecock so that the hips do not interfere with the racket?
I only managed to hit when I removed my hip away from the flying shuttlecock
But in your video, you easily shot without pushing your hips away. At the same time, other players (during matches) on your video remove the hip.
So do you need to move your hip to the side or not? (Sorry for my bad english)
