The sad part is the mistress of mysteries forgot that when she needed help she always sought out the silver shroud if she had trained the boys to carry themselves like shroud then she wouldn’t have fought alone instead she cast the boys out and they sought to find the warmth she denied them by burning down her village sad.
Well they should had created an alliance with the responders, free states, and brotherhood. Brotherhood had the tech and the big guns when needed. Free states had the ideas and information network. Responders had the manpower. The mistresses would had been the spies, scouts, and assassins of the alliance.
Haha, I think it’s one of those “item in the lore vs. item in gameplay” sort of situations. It could also be the case that the dam was weakened by the bombs and they hadn’t performed the proper structural reinforcement. There in a note in the control room for the dam saying they were close to getting the hydroelectric generators back online, so work was ongoing.
The Fallout setting is simultaneously an environment destroyed by the great war and all the conflicts that followed while also being a non-destructible environment.
I say this probably too much, but again, thank you for everything you do. I honestly watch like every second of all your work but this one is just my favorite cuz I love this entire story and I've tried to explain it to people who don't get it, and this just puts it all in order. It's awesome like ty. And done well ty as well for how serious you take your videos 🤘🤙🤘🤙🤘 can anyone tell I'm a raider
@@IrresoluteCartographer well I'm glad you did lol I literally run up and down the Savage divide at least once throughout a play through (my favorite region on the map) for a while trying to "get the whole story" type a thing and this is like *chefs kiss*
Last of the pre-scorching groups, I’ll cover them before too long. Until then, the Flatwoods video I made covers a significant chunk of their story: ua-cam.com/video/GAtex_29HdM/v-deo.html
I don't understand why non-chem-addicted raiders would want to live with what would have to be disgusting smelling, insect & predator attracting corpses everywhere...
I kill every raider I see. It sucks you just cant take a small team into Crater armed with long guns and explosives and just wipe them off the map. I dont even do thier quests. Ive always went with Foundation. The only good raider is a dead raider. Outstanding video Brother. Drive on!
Thomas Eckhart is by far the worst person in Appalachia. David Thorpe is bad yeah but you can at least empathize/sympathize with his reasoning behind becoming what he is.
@IrresoluteCartographer future video? As someone who lives in morally Grey areas I'd be interested to see. Idk I always see the reasoning, even in the most vile of people. Whether I agree is a different story.
@skuffedbub5863 ua-cam.com/video/gqZQbCstz2E/v-deo.html I usually discuss the motives of villains in my longer lore videos, this one is simply a compilation of the people who did the most damage to Appalachia
The very first “Overboss” would have been a good villain if the raiders of the savage divide were still alive.
Keep making these great videos. Your quality content and speculations are much appreciated and you deserve more subscribers 👍
WAIT THOSE GIRLS WITH THOSE DRESSES HAVE THEIR OWN STORY? I ALWAYS THOUGH THEY WERE SOME RANDOM CORPSES OMG
Secret side quest. Best quest line in the game imo. Also end up with two very good pre end game weapons

Ive been working on my own fallout setting and taking a lot of inspiration from 76, these lore videos are a big help on thinking up ideas
This is the most epic of all your videos.

Griswald? I haven’t heard that name in… about 15 hours, was on last night
My guess the responders come out soon or later????

@@IrresoluteCartographer oh ok cool
I wondered, why the raiders aren’t bad in fallout76.

I'll be sure to eat your corpse in the wasteland

I’ve got a list of the 10 worst people in Appalachia in which Thorpe is #2, Eckhart is #1
