We still have hope to see the Enclave in future games. There is still the Chicago base that we haven't seen yet and Fallout 2 mentions an Enclave Vault research group that may still be a group of Enclave members somewhere in the U.S. They could also always just add new lore of another Enclave base being in whatever state the next game will take place in. Here's hoping we can join them if they do show up again
I'm definitely hopeful the enclave get a resurgence again one day. It would really be nice if they would finally be a faction you could fully side with. Especially since after 3 we could join people like the legion or institute which are both flawed as fuck factions to the point of being very imorale. So there is no reason to say "Enclave bad meaning you can't join."
@@fuoco1365fallout 4’s next gen update added in the quest “echoes of the past” in which you investigate the enclave and so far i’ve found out they are recovering x0-2 armor and hellfire armor along with weapons. also stated they are to not engage with the BoS. not sure if it’s canon tho
They likely still have many outposts across the country in 2104. If it weren’t for the bad decisions made by Eckhart and the homicidal AI that ran their other bunker in Appalachia, there would still be 2 occupied bunkers in Appalachia alone.
2 years late but they will DEFINITELY be making an appearance in some future update. Orlando at the Refuge is always taking about “management” the “owners” of the white spring.
Has anyone been in the server room and seen that modus is at 55% restoration, more importantly has anyone been there in previous updates to see if that percentage is changing
The Enclave, from what I read, wanted to wipe most of humanity off the planet, so those "accidental" creations of the monstrosities? "Accidental?" I doubt that. I haven't played any other Fallout games other than this and Fallout 4, but the Institute and the Enclave, seems to me they are both of a kind, and both wanted to remake humanity in their image. If only by a hair, I wonder which was worse, Enclave or Institute?
The scorchbeasts were accidentally created in the first place, but then capitalized on by Eckhart. Personally I believe the Enclave is worse than the Institute, but there are huge problems with both
@@IrresoluteCartographer yeah the enclave was founded by the highest level of government and military (all of which were highly and incredibly corrupt) they see wastelanders and ghouls and shit as being abominations needing to be eradicated
I was reading up on the enclave during these times because some of the dates keep being mixed up. Ellen Santiago was put into a coma in July of 2084 due to the fact she was against the beasts being released til 2086 but Whitespring surveillance recordings 6.9.7 is from June 30th of 2083 which meant the plan started not long after the first beast was created and it took 3 years for them to revolt per the wiki and what people believe in 2086 but then you have Whitespring surveillance recordings 8.5.4 which is from February 27 of 2085 which puts the civil war in the bunker a whole year earlier.
I’ve seen those those dates on the wiki related to the Enclave date system. I’ve not seen a reliable source on where they were obtained, so I generally disregard them.
You can still go through things in order based on the dating system and attempt to connect them to outside events that are dated through logic, i.e.: Eckhart wanted a rating of DEFCON 1, thus he ordered the release of the liberator bots. When those failed to achieve his goal he ordered the reactivation of the FEV vats at West-Tek. When the Responders and Brotherhood defeated the supermutants toward the end of May 2086, Eckhart had to move to the next option: releasing the Scorch Beasts. That release both destroyed Harpers Ferry, which fell around 7 years after the Free States started helping in the summer of 2079, and set the coup attempt in motion, which dates those events to the end of spring/start of summer 2086.
Kinda funny that the Enclave is okay with annihilating civilization in nuclear war but apparently many who are a part of it draw the line at releasing giant bats.
me wanting to nuke someone who set up a trap by their vending machine that killed me and then they took what I bought but having to spend 30min soloing my way through the silo and them having already logged off by the time I got there
It would be a decent single player game provided the story is more lore friendly and interactive with player participation. Instead they made it MMO. 🙄
I’m definitely looking forward to the next mainline Fallout game, but I will say they did some great world building here. 76 absolutely has it’s technical issues, and the issues that come with it being an MMO style game, but I’m still glad we get another Fallout experience, especially given how long it’s going to be until 5 is released if Bethesda sticks with the current release cycle.
2years later the enclave is actually real just a different name..... places like epsteins Island and such....... someone is running all that lol enclave seems like an accurate name 😂

....JOIN???? FASCIST!!!
Plus, in Fallout 3 you face *Colonel* Autumn, not General Autumn. So there is a likely chance that there are other Enclave locations still active

I am willing to believe The Enclave will come at some point in a Future Update, Expeditions can help pave the way for them.

I choose to believe that general and paladin Swafford are the same because fuck thats such s cool concept
I like to think so too

I like to think that, if it was not for the treachery of Thomas Eckhart, the Enclave in Appalachia might have survived.
There are a few points that everything could have turned around for the Enclave, but Thomas Eckhart made everything worse until it was too late.
wow that was so interesting, Thank you for explaining.
@Bethesda please give us a HUGE enclave questline in 2023! This could be a big reason for people to come back or just get started.
Interesting story thx for covering Bethesda needs to make a Enclave update
Your videos are amazing man. Quality, professional work. Inspired me to explor the world of 76. Thank you for all the hard work.
Thank you for taking the time to make awsome video.
Fallout 76’s lore is alot better than most give it credit for. Great video!
Great video love to see coverage of the white spring resort and bunker
I always learn so much, thank you! Wait, we're all in trouble now because we know their secrets. Guess we need to get our own bunker. LoL
Bethesda cant make a main story worth shit but when it comes to side stories, they knock it out the park

awesome recap. Equal or better than other well known fallout lore casts
I always wondered what had happened, thanks I guess

I view the West Virginia Enclave like how a different chapter of the BOS.
Different.
This sounds like real life

Could paladin swafford be a relative to the enclave swafford.
Possibly. It’s interesting to consider a split between father and son or brother and brother into these two organizations

Possibly, just because they made plans to do so doesn’t mean those plans necessarily came to fruition.

The game came out in November 2018 and it dealt with bats carrying a plague accidentally created in a government lab.
