    Schilleriana is my favorite species. I have six of them. The newer pattern they have with the pink stripe is so pretty, as well as the super bright deep pink ones. It's partially the leaves, they are just such beautiful plants.

      That's amazing! The 6 must have subtle difference in the flower and fragrance. I agree that the leaves are gorgeous.

    I almost killed my only Schilleriana by exposing it to direct sunlight accidentally for a few hours.Now it is limping with one leaf,staying fingers crossed as it has one healthy green tipped root.Thank you so much for the experience sharing.

    Hi Nicole. I have Phal. Jiaho’s Pink Girl (Schilleriana x Zumba’s Pixie). She’s in bloom right now. Very slight fragrance the flowers are similar to your Schilleriana, but my leaves are a dark green with dark spotting. Thanks for sharing your cutie. 🤗🥰🦋

    That's on my wish list, but I have 6 right now even though I want more I don't have room for them in winter. I keep mine outside during late spring til last summer and sometimes longer. I would love to have some cats too

    • @NicoleDeanna
      @NicoleDeanna  2 роки тому +1

      Awesome! 6 is a nice manageable size. If you don't have room, it's better to wait before expanding, otherwise it's easy to get overwhelmed.

      @Nicole Deanna 2 are store phals, and the other 3 are Bangkok Sunset vandas from Motes. One is coming out of it blooming. It was a beautiful show. Hopefully, the next one will be even better 😁

    I killed mine too, it had stem rot not crown rot and I still don't know how it happened.

    • @NicoleDeanna
      @NicoleDeanna  2 роки тому

      Do you think you'll replace it? Bummer!
      It's rare for me to kill phals with crown rot, but this one is particularly sensitive.

    I just got one, its planted in med/small bark. Where I live its fairly hot and dry. My other phals have some moss in the pots because they dry up so fast should I add some moss to this one or could it rot easily?

    • @NicoleDeanna
      @NicoleDeanna  Рік тому

      Provided it can dry out within a few days and not stay soggy it should be ok 👌

      Would you say this type prefers more moisture than a regular phal? I have near identical growing environment to yours so hoping as long as I don't rot the crown she will be ok 🙏
