Man, imagine the ABSOLUTE rollercoaster of emotions Ema went through within a day. Forget about what's going on with her sister for a moment, she just had to drag out the time she was assaulted by serial killer as a child, learn that she accidentally killed the innocent man that was trying to save her, somehow came to peace with it to focus on saving her sister, and THEN like a few hours later she gets told "lol j/k actually it was this guy that killed your friend". Like, remember your trauma? Get re-traumatized idiot, now untraumatize yourself, it was a lie.

I feel like I'd be selfish if I asked for Woolie to play ALL of the Ace Attorney games... but seeing how hyped he was to take down Gant... I think he's hooked.
I'm gonna say the second game has an arguably harder line. In fact I'm going to argue it might go a little _too_ hard and might actually be a little fucked up to say. But it's still really fucking raw.
@@StarkMaximum100% agree which is why I worded it that way, but it seems likely woolie will do more playthroughs in the future so well keep that in the pocket for now
One of the main things that makes Gant's takedown so satisfying is that after spending this long being a slimy bastard and using his position as the police chief to slip out of the way of justice coming for him, Phoenix manages to turn the tables and manages to rules-lawyer the shit out of him until he gets undeniably exposed as the real murderer. He pretty much sealed his fate as soon as he tried to force Phoenix's hand with the safe evidence he had.
@11:50 Wright's face contorts and goes gray-scale, "However, I refuse!" But good shit on Woolie. If you present the cloth the first time Gant tells you to, it's one of the series' rare instant game over moments
I love that there's a real risk that Wright might've never found the picture which is possibly one of *the* most defining pieces of evidence, the piece of evidence that could have shortened this LP by 10 episodes. It all hinged on whether Phoenix wanted to read that book, and he didn't because he didn't want to be a nerd.
to be fair, if Nick found the picture earlier, he would have been legally forced to present it without Gant being forced to admit he's the one who took the cloth out
Two things: First, I’ve always been genuinely horrified by the photo taken of Neil Marshall. I think it’s slightly less morbid in the remaster, but personally the pixel art of the original game made it starkly haunting in a way I can’t really describe. Secondly, I’m really glad the ‘storming in to interrupt the interactive segment of cross-examination’ got as much of a pop from the guys as it did, it’s such an awesome bit of this case.
