- I think the best way to make use of the RNG based buff that Phastos provides is to have some form of card draw to ensure you have lots of resources to utilize. Thanos feels like the perfect place form. Stones can go to 1 or just provide decent on board power if buff by +2.

One thing that I've really appreciated about this season is that the cards all more or less work together without forcing any particular synergies. You don't NEED two or more of the new cards in a deck together but they do work. Makkari and Phastos into Sersi. Sersi with random Arishem cards. Thena providing a buff to Gilgamesh. Makkari getting an extra card down that doesn't disrupt Thena's bonus. Etc.
With 4 cards series 5 per month being f2p it is very difficult to follow the meta :(
Basically impossible.
I know :( I'm hoping for a revamp on card acquisition at some point. Luckily the meta is decent so several decks can do well. It's just hard to follow those that are purely optimal

You have to pick and choose which one or two you actually need. The rest will have to wait. Thena is probably one of the better ones, but so far none of them this time have been meta defining

I main Thanos and i insta add Phastos in my build. No let down atm. Did not lost a turn 3 phastos to date. Having free stones again like the ol'days

Do you think Phastos is really necessary overall?? Im only missing Sasquatch and I love playing all sort of Thanos decks so Im in the fence with Phastos
I think he is a great addition to the archetype, but right now doesn't feel required. I'd give it a few days for more stats to come out before making a decision. I'm always cautious with cards that are potential skips because they good be core cards for later. Im thinking phastos will be great in a gwenpool style deck if she launches as datamined
I think you can use at turn 3 make your 1 cost to 0 and add it all with jane foster
The cloak before the dr strange in the first game was so triggering
it's wild how many new cards are "must haves"...and I don't have them. Sasquatch, Mockingbird, Hope Summers...ugh. Most decks are running at least one of these
I only want to get him to add to a deck for Arishem.. extra energy to drop him on 2 would be crazy if you lucked up. I only got 3 keys so I'll skip him so i don't miss out on what I really want

i don't think phastos looks great, but he looks like he is fun and that's what I value most personally. Saved keys for him and ended up with ham and Rulk which were both new for me

What are your thoughts on running phastos on a bounce move list?
At 3 cost it gets a bit tough to bounce it and replay it with enough additional value.
On 3 you get 3 cards buffed
Bounce on 4 and replay on 5 only gives you one additional buff on your next card draw.
Edit: unless of course you only plan to play it once then it might be decent! You can start snowballing your move cards early or play them more easily with the cost discount. My gut says it would be too inconsistent though, but always worth testing

I don't have cull obsidian, but that would 100% go over crossbones. Sasquach is a tough trade, but cull should be good!

Way better
I think Cull would be marginally better than crossbones. I think they both have their own strengths. Crossbones is great when you haven't been able to draw stones, but cull otherwise is almost always better.

Idk if this is an unpopular opinion, but i think möbius is a terrible card. Ive felt this way since he was released. He just does too much for the cost, and he’s pretty hard to counter.
He is a big jack of all trades. He single handedly pushes down so many things for a 3 cost card. Sera, death, zabu, loki, she hulk, and more. I'm glad he's in the game to give protection against loki, but he does do a lot against several archetypes
