You can copy/cut and paste straight into LightBurn. Specially if you are going to then vectorize it. If you’re going to etch a raster image export as png is best. I prefer to do any contrast/game adjustments in photoshop and just let LightBurn handle the dither.
i dont think you can copy from photoshop and paste in lightburn , yeah i would worry about that more if it was more shading but with this type image it is just solid black lines :D thanks for watching.

After the image tracing, I couldn't get the shade anymore... I only get outline of the previous image. What went wrong..?
In the layer settings check the image mode you are using , turn it to dither, also zoom in close and make sure its not there but your not seeing it.
