Please please PLEASE remember to use gloves and a respirator ALWAYS when working with resin. And advertise others to do so in your videos. There are too many people that make the huge mistake of not taking proper safety measures and having serious health problems down the line. Please be careful.
Well thank you for informing me because i didn’t know u had to use a mask or anything but gloves .. i never really looked into that much just started making stuff okay 💯
@XXXPink Tv yeah what?? My resin from @letsresin is non-toxic and doesn't sy too use respirators
I used a square ash tray molds to make a base for a night light for my daughter it worked great. Also gave me plenty of room for the battery and wiring.
Add your stickers after it drys and then add clear mix on top just a Lil to lock the stickers on so they want sink in the resin

@@diksha7069 pour a layer of resin in your mold let it dry a little then put your stickers down then pour clear mix resin on top to finish
@@rhoshandawillianson4095 do you think its a better idea to put the sticker on top of the dried resin (so basically where youre supposed to ash) once its out of the mould and then seal it with another layer of resin
Question 🙋♀️ what kind of paper is the image or is it stickers?
For smokers.....if I buy this from you and put my cigarette in it, will it melt away??? Or the substance used to make it will hold up against heat. I assume it should.....
It would hold I’ve had mine for about 2 months now i used them a lot to but i also wash them

Do you seal your images before you put them in the resin, if so what do you use?? I’m scared the inc will smudge or bleed when you put it in the resin.
Also would you have to seal everything you put into the resin like thicker chunks of holo glitter?
I’m new to resin making and need help do you have and tips on what to use??
Okay so yes seal seal seal everything that goes into resin well not everything just papers because the resin bleed thru .. u can use multiple coats of ModPodge that’s how i seal mine pulse sealer spray to be extra but it helps..
Please make sure u wear gloves and some type of mask because epoxy gives off a silent fume that can mess u up in the long run
U don’t have to seal glitters or anything just papers
Hii, how do you seal your images before you pur Thema in the resin?
Do they look ugly after a few uses? Because of the burn marks?
2bhonest not really i wish i can show u a picture of the one i made when i first started making them and it still look nice .. maybe because i wash it every once ina while

I always hear that if you use the ash tray, you have to put glass in the bottom and around the edges is this true?
sarahapel i haven’t had any problems with mine or complaints... u just have to washed them every week atleast

Girl you should be wearing gloves and a face mask, resin is no joke! Not accusing you of doing anything wrong cause I did the same when I started resin, but soon learned it was actually harmful to the body. But either way, you did a good job. Love the mean girls one!

I use regular printer paper you have to cover it in mod Podge so the resin won’t bleed thru

Not really I made some for myself and I still have them still see the design on the inside 🤷🏻♀️

Hiii about how many trays can you make with one bottle of resin ?
15 trays i really think more because a little bit of resin and hardner goes a long way

I’m new to resin art like just bought my first kit what do I need to harden it a heat gun or light
If you purchased a kit with UV resin then you will need a UV lamp to cure it. If you purchased just regular Epoxy resin then you won't need anything. It cures on its own overnight, or longer depending on the size and thickness of your piece. Heat guns are nice for popping air bubbles but are not necessary as you can use a lighter (carefully girl, don't melt your mold or burn yourself...like I did once...oops lol) or blow air through a straw to pop the bubbles, whatever you like, it's your personal preference :) Hope this helped girl! Oh and don't forget to wear gloves and a face mask! Stay safe and have fun on your resin journey! :)

Yes it does! A respirator and gloves should always be worn
I do not think this product is safe. It’s clearly something she did for a cute little one time project without much research. But resins aren’t able to withstand temperatures above 500 and that’s for the best resin enforced with minerals. When you put out something hot on it it won’t melt like you’d expect but it will instantly break down the material into a volatile gas much like why you don’t breath in the resin during the mixing process. I would only use these for ashing and not to put something out in. Or line it with glass like many have pointed out to avoid any heat touching the resin. Or simply don’t use this and use a glass or ceramic ashtray like they’re meant to be.
