San Diego: 2 Vehicle Collision 07012024

The male driver of the Toyota truck was driving westbound on Aero Dr. Witnesses told the Police that he was speeding and trying to beat the “Red” light at Kearny Villa Rd and ran the “Red” light. The female driver of the car was southbound on Kearny Villa rd and entered the intersection on the “Green” light. The two collided, and the truck flipped and rolled, landing on its roof.
A Good Samaritan, who is also an off-duty firefighter, witnessed the incident and pulled over to help. He helped extricate the male driver from the truck. The male was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital with cuts to his head and hands from the broken glass. The female was scared but not injured. Police shut down westbound Aero Dr. for approximately one hour to investigate and clean up the accident scene.

Poo truck. Sometimes I feel like the tow crews are damaging whatever components the collision left untouched; then I remember that nobody's waiting or paying for a rotator and crew to delicately load the wrecked vehicle onto a flatbed.
