- Just a quick update. Wife and I went on vacation (well needed!), so this pig sat for a bit.
Got the rest of the front lighting hooked up, and the horns. Seems one works only when it wants to, so a backup set of horns is being entertained.......
Found you on the deboss channel. Looking forward to see the progress on this truck...

So now all the lighting on the front and cab is done.
Guess I’ll start planning the attack for the rear end.
@@jmlcolorado What needs to be changed with the rear end?
David Devine the 12’ long driveshaft needs to be shortened to about 5’, then the rear axle, springs, air relay valves, crossmembers, and panhard bar all move foreword to shorten the wheelbase to a more useable length.

If you addressed this already I apologize, but what is your plan for the wheel wells? Those tire stick out a little bit... I’m asking because I’m interested in doing a similar swap
Aaron Walczak it’s been driving me crazy. That’s for sure.
I’m on the hunt for some ford big job fenders as those are wider. That won’t help the misalignment o the wheel wells so they will need modified still. My last resort is to fill in the wheel well openings, and graft in some steel round semi fenders to better match the radius of the tire. In my mind it looks goofy that way, but I have a picture of a 40’s dodge on semi wheels and it looks the part pretty well.
Getting there bro . .Seems like forever since a video though .. lol .. The horns are gonna be fabulous. . Now you just need some awesome stacks for exhaust .. I love this truck
Yeah I wasn’t planning on posting this one actually but figured any little progress counts for something.
The rear frame dusting and moving of the axle is creeping up quick. I’m gonna have to bite the bullet on that and just get it done. That should be interesting.
As usual excited to see more .. I'm gonna be sad after its all finished .. For there will be no more modified or fix it videos for this one
I'm planning to do the same thing, but with a 2025 Navistar HV and a 2020 Honda Fit or 2020 Toyota Prius (I'm doing the project in 2025)
I would absolutely go with the Honda Fit. The Prius’s on 22.5” wheels are getting payed out these days everyone has em 🤣
