You could've had the truck the other way, so you can put the frame on lift while the axle is off. But, too late now! You removed the driveshaft. Nice progress :)
Dont mess air to unlock the brakes cage them there is a bolt in the side of the can looks like a tee on the end it's a tool remove the plug from the end push the tee end in the hole till it stop turn it it will lock in put the nut back on it and tighten it down till it stops it will suck up the spring in the brake and release the brakes it's how they tow a truck that wont hold air
Thanks for the tip! Ultimately, that was my plan, but I wasn’t thinking about it clearly at the time. I looked for those bolts previously, but couldn’t find them. I’m sure they are there somewhere.
