It’s rare that an interview generates a phenomenal wave of emotionality, combined with an overwhelming demand that he come back. So here he is again, by popular demand, Tony Orlando!
Tony is my all time favorite guest and I wish everyone could see his 2 appearances on our show. Thank you so much for watching. Please spread the word!
This was another fabulous interview and it was thrilling to see the effect Harvey had on Tony as well. This speaks well of Tony that he can recognize genius in others. It was a love fest in the best possible sense.
Long time fan of Tony's since I was 14 and and now I am almost 65. Lifelong true fan of a wonderful man. I could not have known how things would have turned out during his life or my life but I have got to say that my world, the world is such a better place with him and his music. Tony you are a real inspiration as well. xxxxx Diane
Tony Orlando may have been looked upon as "lightweight" but the truth is he was and IS a powerhouse! Classic songs by a marvellous artist. And a superb performer too!
I would love to see a miniseries about Tony Orlando & Dawn. I had the biggest crush on him & Freddie Prince. I’m Puerto Rican too & it was great seeing them on tv. Love love love them all.
I have watched at least 30 of Harvey Brownstone’s Life-altering interviews. I have never known any interviewer who can surpass his intelligence, his interviewing skills, and how he really listens to everyone with a loving and caring heart! And these two shows on Tony Orlando have touched my heart as I know everyone else who has seen them must feel the same as I do! It has been a privilege to watch them. Harvey…I really know you know this, but you have found your complete passion and mission in life. ❤️❤️🧸🧸
I an deeply touched and grateful for your very kind comments about me and my show. What started out as a post-retirement hobby has become a full time career, hosting a show that features legends in the entertainment world. I’m truly honored and humbled by the immensely positive feedback I receive from our viewers. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your support and loyalty. ❤️❤️❤️
I was sitting at home at my computer doing my work and it just dawned on me that I wanted to hear Knock three times so I got on UA-cam play the song and then I had to hear another song and then I ran across the concert with he and Dawn and I cried like a baby. I was so happy to see them singing together again absolutely love Tony Orlando. I am 63 years old. I was born in 61 and this just made me so happy and now I see you guys on here talking, can’t get any better than this.
It is so wonderful to have witnessed the beginning of a strong, special friendship between the two of you...Forever Friends! Another emotional interview, I'm thankful caught it! I hope they do make a movie of his life, it would be brilliant!!! Thank you, Harvey, you, yourself are pretty amazing too!!! 😊
Oh please don’t miss Part 2. It was so great of Tony to return to our show 3 weeks after filming Part 1. What a great guy he is! Thank you for watching our show. Please spread the word!!
This was an incredible interview, Harvey! Since this interview, @officialtonyorlando has retired and I was determined to be at his last show at Mohegan Sun last month. It was the most memorable, entertaining and touching performance I’ve ever seen. As he mentioned in this interview, you are a wonderful interviewer who listens and does his homework. Your questions were all the questions a true fan would ask of this legend. Thank you for giving him this platform on which to speak. I know we will all enjoy listening to Tony on WABC every Saturday night going forward. ❤
Another stellar interview. Sad about Barry Manilow but Tony has a great and generous attitude. Loved his Ruth Buzzie story. Hope for a part 3 interview in the future. And would love to hear you interview Telma and Joyce. Can you imagine doing their introduction? That would be a long list of accomplishments.
Thank you so much for watching. I’m trying to get Telma and Joyce on the show. No luck so far. Despite our show’s prestigious status as the #1 online talk show, it’s still exceedingly difficult getting guests. It’s the hardest part of having an interview program. Sometimes I look at the long roster of guests we’ve had on the show and I can’t believe we’ve done as well as we have. Remember, prior to starting this show I had zero show business experience or connections!!
These two interviews stand out amongst your best Harvey. Beyond the formation of a unique and spontaneous friendship, you exposed sides of Tony that I had no idea existed. These were a couple of hours, for me, well spent. Thanks Harvey!
Mike I’m deeply touched and honoured that you watched our show. You’ll never know how much your kindness and support means to me. Love you so much bro. 🙏❤️
I believe Barry has always acknowledged Tony's contribution to the uptempo "Featherbed" version of "Could it be Magic." It's included in Barry's 1992 boxed set. The original, long, ballad version had lyrics by Barry's longtime collaborator Adrienne Anderson. That became the big hit version... The Featherbed record Tony produced and co- wrote never even charted. I think that's the only credit/involvement Tony was ever supposed to get.
I’m filled with gratitude that you like and support our show. I hope you’ll spread the word about our great interviews. We want our UA-cam viewership to grow!!!
I have the promo 45 of the Featherbed version - Tony does indeed have writer's credit, as well as credit for producing. It was "Could It Be Magic" turned into "Knock Three Times". The reason he didn't get any money is because this version FLOPPED. When Barry recorded his debut album, he had the lyrics re-written by Adrienne Anderson, and the classic we know was born.

I have live Tony since I was 9! I don’t know how or why, but I could always see his heart. Your interviews with him, touched my soul’. Thank you

Love you guys. Greetings from Guadalajara Jalisco México
Thank you so much for watching our show! I love Mexico!!
Loved his song "Make Believe" By Wind in 1969.
Me too!
Great interview!
Thank you so much. Honestly, I hated to see the interview end. I absolutely adore Tony. He’s become family to me. ❤️

Interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Gob smacked by this interview on all counts.
That makes me so happy
@@harveybrownstoneinterviews8980 You make us all happy. I just youtubed Tony's eps with Phyllis Diller and Ruth Buzzi -- both hilarious and unplanned.
I’m filled with gratitude that you like and support our show. I hope you’ll spread the word about our great interviews. We want our UA-cam viewership to grow!!!

Tony should still have received credit in my humble opinion
