@@TheScottishIsle I live in Scotland 🏴 I’ll keep trying I’m not good with this kind of thing 😂😀
Katie is the most natural and truest beauty on YT!
True beauty deserves no comment. It is self evident. A beautiful couple. A beautiful landscape. I cannae wait for the fishing vid
Lovely to see how grateful you were Scott for the gifts you received.
The kindness and generosity of people is amazing.
I would love to see you wash, card, and spin your sheep’s wool! Knit something lovely! Enjoying your videos, especially little Shona❤️
"... because I aam highly precautious... You know what I'm like"
I do so appreciate both of your different but dry senses of humour. Thank you for being yourselves.
Catching up. The pic of Shona on her chair is priceless. I can see the wheels turning with the chain link find. A wind chime is a thought. Once again Katie brings natural beauty to the cottage with her garden that will surely blossom. Missed you all on Wednesday
I lived in Germany many years ago in the countryside with a cow pasture right outside my window. I watched them all the time and became a vegetarian after that experience. I can't be a part of animal cruelty. I really enjoy your interactions with your wonderful animals. Scott, your humor is wonderful.
The kindness and generosity of people is amazing. Scott I love your chain find and Katie you and Shona have such a cute friendship, she followers you every where. Have a lovely week.
A beautiful couple, a beautiful island... I can't even complete the sentence. I am insanely jealous! Just please love and enjoy your BS free lives together. Love.
Dream catchers work! They are especially good for children who wake up from bad dreams. My mother recommended a dream catcher for my sister's little boy. She figured that it couldn't hurt. She put it up, and she was no longer having to get up four to eight times a night with her toddler. Worked like a charm!
Oh my goodness 😮😮😮 Whoever Jane is? That is an awesome gift to bestow on this fabulous pair and their gorgeous sheep ❤❤
Watching you building, planting, and watering your new garden I was admiring how much you've changed the little cottage in just a year.
Inspiring what your vision and hard work can do.
🥳 YAY !!!! You did it... 40K subscribers 🥳🎉 HUGE achievement in one year!
Onward & upward🚀 Congratulations Katie & Scott. ❤x
Thank you so much!!
You two are amazing people. You have sheep as pets! You obviously care about them very much. This episode was fun to watch. The area outside the the cottage will look great. You deserve the gifts you receive. Good luck with the shearing!
Great episode. Can't wait to see the flowers in bloom.
Thanks to you both , for a very peaceful , productive , & informative episode.
Love how you transformed the flower bed , stunning backdrop to your little chats . Those sheep have the best life ever . ❤
I enjoy watching the two of you. Your easy, casual, playful banter is so candid. Katie with her drive to improve and beautify your home, Scott with your awe and wonder of all the new things you find so exciting. Katie, as a knitter, I'm curious about your plans for the sheep wool. Will you clean it, card it, spin it and make yarn? If so and you have any to spare, I'd like to buy some. It would be special to me to have. I have knitted items from Shetland wool, and Galway wool from Ireland and Icelandic wool. Just a thought.
You two are so funny you really wind each other up and make us laugh ❤
What a beautiful island! I can't imagine the peacefulness. Oh, to walk there daily whenever you wish. Heaven...😍
Irises in yellow ,would look great by the cottage, Katie you have some good ldeas,
Such kind and generous people helping you out, blessings.
I love that Scott is a fellow goblin!! I save everything I find in the wild too!
Ah, Katie, you're a gardener after my own heart - there's not a straight line anywhere in my garden. Scott, thanks for walking around the mound. It really helped us to see it. Whatever it is, it's definitely made by humans. And as for the chain link, I vote for a chain mooring boats. As chain mail, it wouldn't be of much use - arrows would penetrate really easily. Thank you so much for making these videos. It's a real treat to be able to follow your explorations and projects.
Loving Scott's artifacts of the pre-industrial Hebridean vernacular (I made that up) , and the mound. As ever, Katie doing a great job of transforming the cottage. It's a proper autonomous collective...
Can’t wait to see the wildflowers appear. I hope the sheepy ba bas don’t look on them as a treat😂❤️
Hi Katie, I am totally impressed with your watering bucket. It watered that whole area and no refills. I enjoy your shows.
So looking forward to brie and crowdy getting sheared.they just beautiful.little shone is a treasure.love everything that you show us a d everything you do on the island.keep up the good entertainment.👍💯
Thank you for the entertainment once again! When you go on your walk- a-bout, wrap packers tape with the sticky side out around your ankles, cathces those pesky ticks and they won’t climb up your legs!
You are two gentle souls❤
Can’t wait to see the iris bloom!! 💐
Really enjoying your blogs I watch you both just before I go to bed at midnight, love Scott’s dry sense of humour and Katie natural love for nature , you both are amazing. xox
Dr Martens boots.....The young ones and Alexei Sayle ...Flipping brill
Katie is fab.....she is great
That old path would be a good place to metal detect when the bracken dies back
Your news beds are going to look beautiful against the white wall and the green patch of lawn ! ❤
Everything is looking lovely and cared for.
Katie got a mozzie bite...reminds me of the time my wife went to play golf...she came home very early and told me she'd been stung by a bee, where I asked & she replied between the 1st & 2nd hole...I said you're stance is too wide 😅😅😅😅
That mound is a real mystery, obvious clearing but you wouldn't think it would be that round if it was just where fill had been dumped or the like. Gosh that is so generous to gift the shearers, bet they'll make it so much easier. I remember clipping the horses and having to hold the 30yr old Arab's front leg out to straighten out his old man wrinkles so we didn't nick him! Fun times..that blimin hair gets everywhere, hope the wool isn't as bad!
Wow guys, not far off 50k subs! Amazing :)
The stone circle is for building a fire and dancing around naked in the moonlight 😊🤭🤭
Can't wait to see the Iris bloom and what comes up in your flower garden, wee Shona is just beautiful!
Scott, when you moan about little tasks Katie asks you to do, you should be called "Puffin" ... fits nicely with the boat😅
That tune when Katie was making the flowerbed is one of ly favourites 🥰 And looking so lovely with the hat. 🌺
Hi Scott, you did a great impersonation- the thinker!
The Iris plants are spectacular !
aren't they though, magnificent!
I did Google it, and iris are poisonous to sheep, goats, and cattle. Most don't like the taste of it.
As each video goes by the more lush and green the island becomes. The bountiful of irises is amazing and will be so beautiful in bloom. Shona is precious and she fits in her chair perfectly 😁 ❤️🤗
I love these videos.❤
I think the only reason Katie wasn't whisked away by the Good Folk while standing on that mound is that the camera was on her!
Another trade to add to moss tickler Scott. Fence post maker 😂
The flowers will look lovely when they bloom. And Shona in the arm chair is just gorgeous. She's sooo sweet. Can't wait for the shearing episode. Thank you as always for taking us along xx Teresa 🇦🇺♥
Hi Scott and Katie good work lovely show have an amazing time there. From me way over here on an island called Newfoundland. Best regards Sharon
Love that you are so good for your animals ❤❤ I have 12 ducks myself and treat them like pets, they swim in our moat. And I know their character, they are like my children
I love Ducks... but seriously, you have a MOAT?! I'm so jealous... Ducks in your moat... heaven 😍

16:29 Glad that you don't cut that out. Gave me a big laugh.
🙋♀️❤️ Yes! Curiouser and Curiouser! How beautiful!
Agree with you Katie about Western Scotland being a good mix of beautiful coastline and mountains although Northumberland is another beautiful place to live . Shona is so cute , especially in her very own armchair , look forward to watching you shear the sheep . Also be nice to see your wildflowers when they develop
My husband recommended your videos to me as he knew id love the restoration, scenery and wild life including the sheep.
He also thought id love your dresses. He was right and i do!
As i know your quite creative and crafty im thinking that you possibly made the dresses yourself.
Ive looked through many videos to see if you mention the dresses or show yourself making them but can't seem to find any.
Do you make your dresses or use a pattern, if so, which one if you don't mind saying. (Im thinking that the dresses all come from the same place/store/pattern as the sleeves have a similar slit style.)
And also i would love to see you knitting or crafting or sewing.
Thanks for the great videos and peaceful music.
I come from the True Crime Community, including the Drama and Crama (Crime and Drama) communities, OMG, such peace over here, I adore your both.
Same here, love watching true crime or sewing, crochet quilting whilest sewing my own stuff.
But when life gets to busy or noisy then videos like this with birdsong and tress, lakes and mountains are just perfect for winding down.
Another great vlog with some different views. At least Scott gave a lot of thought about who he could impersonate. The stone circle(s) were very interesting. The Irises are going to be spectacular and look forward to seeing them. It must nearly be your first anniversary on the Island. The shearer was a great gift and hope to see you in an Aran jumper soon. Xx
I 100% think you should have a museum Scott also I was thinking about all the old pottery you could make a mosaic picture like all glued onto a mount and hang it up in a frame
Great video,from PrinceEdwardIsland,Canada ,Shona is cute❣️
Katie and Scott your living all our dreams xx
Scott the short was so funny,,hello Katie Scott😊
The possible Cairn is fascinating. It looks very likely. Perhaps a metal detector would go off if there was some metal belongings buried within the mound? Though that might make you more curious if it goes off haha. Totally agree with the sheep shearing, I hate seeing sheep thrown around too. Could watch lil Shauna in her armchair all day though! Looking forward to seeing the flowerbeds and irises 😊
Hello Katie and Scott, The Island sure is looking beautiful. I'm sure when all of the irises bloom, it's going to be a beautiful color of yellow across the landscape. Katie You amaze me, with all your inventiveness. That you have. When it comes to landscaping and creating. I'm sure the flower beds that you just constructed. And put seeds in will be beautiful.Scott That was really nice of you to make a little wooden stakes for Katie for the flower bed. On your walk in the meadow I guess you might say, the discovery of the mound with the circle of stones around it. Sounds fascinating I wonder what exactly might be there?...
Also that would be great if somehow you could create a pathway from that spot to the cottage. It sounded like it might be a shortcut possibly? I so enjoy watching your videos each week. And look forward to the next one.
Omg you need that boat it would change your lives. X
Lovely hat Katie x
Congratulations on 4k ❤
Lovely to see the island change. ❤🌿🐑
I am fiddling "Swinging on a Gate" on my Violin.
hello from the rocky mid-coast of Maine US. Wednesday May 22, 2024....
Love it , a sheep with its own chair 😂❤
Great video they are getting better all the time well worth watching one of the best on tube
I think Time Team is still around and has a channel on You Tube. Would love to see what turns up with that mound! I enjoy your content very much! Thank you for sharing the many aspects of a simpler, not easier, but much more gratifying life.
You might need to consider a jackhammer for the soil rather than a pitchfork. It must have been really slow going for farmers growing ground crops. Your front garden is going to be beautiful when it comes up! Hopefully the deer and sheep will appreciate it for beauty rather than dessert.
Can't wait...ok ....I will have to ,right?
I would have thought with the kayakers, you’d be more likely to lay cannon out than build a tea room.
I got Katies Life of Brian reference.
This is becoming one of my favorites to watch can't wait to see sum drone footage of the island what an amazing place.
You hav alot of exploring to do lol
I'm actually starting to understand your accent lol I luv listening to both of you.
And watching you learn as you go.
Can't wait for the next video, Scott cracks me up an Kate just aggs it on 👍
I think I may be able to watch😊
Can't wait to see the sheering! Exciting!
If that chain could talk, oh the tales it could tell! And maybe it could tell you what is in the cairn.
So true.. I love ancient mysteries and that place is ancient.
It is amazing how beautiful it is 🌳🪵🌿🌱🌲⛰🪨🐑🐑🐑
Sunny day
You can metal detect the same area dozens of times and still find items I’ve been doing most of my adult life .never give up
My father always says 'Read The Destructions ' 😂
Phil Harding would be excited about the old chain link. It could be an important national treasure.
Thanks for the visit
Canmore (the archaeological database) mentions that a surprising number of stone structures were found in a 2005 walkover survey, including "a possible prehistoric roundhouse", which just might be your circular mound.
That fern is incredible
great show as usual . days fly by in the city. cheers guys

Yet another great Vlog, I would just like to know where do I send my address for these 3D glasses LOL. Looking forward to Sundays Vlog you two are so good to watch.. Love from Australia.

California poppies are beautiful for a short time. They will look lovely with the blue lupine. Central coast CA.
Alexa Sale classic.
Instead of a museum I think it should be Scott’s Curiousities & Oddities. That way you could charge admission 😬
This is an excellent idea. Navigate around the regulations.
One of the things I think about when considering buying any property, including a coastal/island property, is ticks. I wonder if it's possible or truly beneficial to get some types of the animals that eat them, include guinea fowl, opossums, turkeys, chickens, and squirrels.
