I saw your latest message glad to know it wasn't nothing super serious?
Get well soon.🙏🏻
Wasn't related to the old ticker was it?
Hey Andy, thank you for another great lesson, I just recently donated to your channel. I would like to ask you if you could consider to make a lesson of 'Mother' by Pink Floyd. The rhythm is pretty sopfhisticated in my opinion and I would be more than happy to have a solid lesson of it. I could imagine a lot here would appreciate it as well. Anyway, many thanks.
I've pieced together you're not 100%. I'm praying all is well. We miss you !
Andy-just a note to let you know that so very many of us are eternally thankful for your instruction, and more importantly, your freely-given contribution to simply making the world a better place through music. Wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery from whatever is ailing you, and a return to doing what you love! Thank you so much!
I also wanted to extend my sincere wishes for your speedy and complete recovery to good health. You may not know us but, we feel we know you as a friend and wish you nothing but the best and thank you for all you do for us in your tutorials.
Absolutely, me too
Same.
Frampton really lived and loved to play guitar! He looked like he was having fun at every concert. Nice guy, too.
You are an incredible player. Clean and precise. Your teaching methods are calm and insightful. One of the best teachers on UA-cam!!
So great Andy! And for everyone, I strongly suggest you give Andy monthly support as I do. These are master lessons that are better than anything else out there. He’s taught me so much!
Get better Andy! The world needs you more than you ever know! God Bless!! Jonathan
I've been playing this song for 45 years and somehow never got it down perfect...until now. Thank you sir!
Andy, I'm praying for you. Good health to you. Hang in there!!
After those harmonics, I expected huge roar from the crowd. Thanks for doing this one.
I've got to go & play 'Ill Give You Money' now....

You're so professional. There are many lesson channels in youtube but they're not mentioning little details. You care about keeping the lesson as original records. Keep uploading, we learn. Thank you.

What came 1st? Kiss Alive or Frampton Comes Alive. 2 live albums that set the standards
@@doggystylez10 not sure but frampton is one of my favourites, great album
KISS came out in Sept. 75 and Frampton came out in Jan.of 76.
Andy - sending positive waves and wishing you strength and healing Your brilliant lessons, along with your deep knowledge and love of the music, have brought so much happiness to countless followers like myself. Hope that you'll be back in black soon - we need you man!

Hi Andy. Heard you're not doing too great at the moment. Hope to have you back in the saddle soon. You are a fine teacher and such pleasant company of an evening when the family are away to bed and I can get my guitar out. Wishing you good health sir. Oh and I made a donation too yesterday. Everyone should if they are getting something from these tutorials. C'mon loyal subscribers! If Andy can't work just now he can't earn so I'm sure even the smallest of donations would be welcome
You are my favorite guitar lesson instructor on UA-cam! Thanks 😊

Great lesson.Great song. Thanks Andy!
This has been on the back burner until I recuperated from a broken wrist. Revisited it today. So much fun to play. (I know you've had health issues recently. Wishing you all the best and hope you're back 100% soon!)
Just simply the best
This is. Great lesson. I love the song. Thanks!!!
So enjoy all you do here. It's all about the guitar technique and the music. Well done mate. P.s. 40 years ago we just jammed and figured stuff out. Newbies are lucky.
Get well fast! God be with you 🙏
Get well soon Andy, we are all thinking and praying for you!
Andy that’s so nice as always. 👌
This is highly great. Very nicely done.
Thanks Andy great lesson also hope you are well.
Not sure how I played this back in the day with no UA-cam, but it's a physically fun song to play, for sure and always impresses. Great job :)
Hey Andy! I hope you’re recovering well ❤️❤️❤️ I send my best energies to you.
Hi Andy, you are the most accurate and reliable teacher I know, so please teach us exactly how to play "Everybody's Talkin '(Harry Nilsson) fingerpicking. It's a great song and nobody does the right job on web, thank you!!!
Thanks so much for doing a lesson on this!! I've been wanting to learn this the correct way for years....lol
When I finally seen Frampton live(front row of coarse)it was one thing in life that I actually done something right for a change
Great tutorial. Thank you. My goodness it really showed me how rusty I was in my picking. Great song and very well played.
Dude you are THE BEST - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do Classical Gas I know you would kill it!
I just received your email. Your lessons have made my life better. I am praying for your quick recovery. There are many many more songs to teach! And..."hospital blue" may not be a bad change after years in black:)
I love your tutorials! I have a request! Could you do some lead guitar tutorials for some Buck Owens songs? For example, a tutorial of "love's gonna live here" or "Under your spell again". Greetings from Italy!
Loving everything your doing! More hip please
From your fellow Canadian
Great lesson Andy, I always liked on Frampton Comes Alive how this song led into the next (I'll Give You ) Money. Loved the solos in that , maybe a follow up lesson? thx again for the great lessons.
I always thought (I’ll Give You) Money was about being in a strip club 😄
@@doggystylez10 lol just listened to it again, now I won't be able to stop hearing it like you did!
Not sure what’s happening with your health. Based on the comments it sounds like something has happened. This is two of my guitar “teachers” that have stopped posting videos. I really appreciate your instruction. I’ve learned so much from your lessons. You’ve made learning the guitar a very enjoyable experience for me. Thank you 🙏.
Would "James James" be the other one? I miss that guys stuff.
@@davefan16 yep. Iv watched him for a decade. Wish he hadn’t left.
I learned this song 20 years ago. Nice little diddy. And you are playing it like I do. Kewl! I go right into Zeppelin with the same tuning.
A friend turned me on to you. Your the best, and I love the wine colored LP with the zebras!
Hey Andy. I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your guitar lessons, especially your lead guitar. I've been playing with one of your older lessons, "Rhiannon", and love the leads on that song. So melodic. I wanted to make a suggestion for a certain lead solo that I believe you will love. Maybe you've heard it. It's Mick Taylor with John Mayall on an old compilation he made. The song is a slow blues called "Marriage Madness". I believe this is one of the most gorgeous melodic solos in history. Easily as good as Gary Moore's "I still got the blues." Would love to hear your take on it, and hopefully one of your excellent tutorials.
Get well soon Andy, all the best.
I just got notification that your going to out of commission for a while, I do hope everything is okay, wishing you a speedy recovery Andy
Get better soon Andy!
Well Get Soon, Andy!!!!
Great lesson Andy. I love your videos you always post artists I've never heard of before which is what I love about your lessons. Have you heard of a guitarist called woody mann. It would great if you could do a few lessons on his songs. Cat Burglar is a instrumental song of his I like. But he has loads of other great songs to.
I wonder how many guitars Taylor has sold because of your tutorials, lol.
Love the chime your guitar has.
Andy - Exquisite song choice as usual. This is one of the core albums of my youth. Frampton...super tasteful musician and guitarist. Andy, is that an Earvana compensated nut on your Taylor? If so, has it improved intonation? Lastly, please consider tackling Marc Ford, Cry, Moan & Wail. Have not see anyone breakdown this song.
Anyone wondering/know what happened to Andy? Hasn't uploaded in 4 months, I'm getting concerned! My favorite UA-cam content creator..
Wondering the same thing myself. Whatever it is I hope that he's okay. He's the best.
I love your videos so much, they have given me so much help learning some of the most difficult songs I know. I would love to see you play Willie Nelson's version of "Loving her was easier" at the Nassau Coliseum in 1990. I think Willie's solo is worth a study, as it gives insight to his playing style and its just lovely. I'm sure you know how iconic Trigger is, and this may be one of the nicest solos I've ever heard played live. Willie is obviously trying to hand off credit to Kris, which I personally love as he is probably the least known Highwaymen but one of the best songwriters of all time. But wow does Willie steal the show, and even has Waylon clapping at the sweet sound. Anyway, cheers, thank you for the many hours of very watchable videos and for the free lessons. Great gear by the way, I love my taylor 324 ce. Your 314? Sounds amazing!
Thanks James. I put a huge amount of time and effort into making these videos. Only consider them free if you just can't afford to contribute, but if you can, please support what I do. Cheers, Andy www.shutupandplay.ca/donate.html
Duly noted sir, will definitely make a donation soon. Thank you again for all your hard work and sharing the love of music.
@@ShutupAndPlayGuitarTutorials Hey Andy, I just want to say I'm super grateful for all your lessons and I hope you get better soon. Your voice is very comforting and your guitarplaying is AMAZING. You basically got me single handedly through those lock downs too!

Oh Well pt.2 by Fleetwood mac.
It's my old time favorite. Oh yes and thank you so much for your channel.
I want you to know that your time and effort are very appreciated.
THANK YOU SO MUCH AND GOD BLESS YOU.
Hey Andy! I’m a big fan of your tutorials; I would donate if I wasn’t a broke college student. Something I’m wondering is if you ever thought of posting your song demos as instrumental covers on a platform like Spotify, Apple Music, ect.
Sometimes I find myself coming back to your videos just to hear the demo again!
Andy, could you please do a tutorial on badfinger's timeless? I'd aprecciate a lot, mostly because there aint a single tutorial here on youtube, at least i didn't find it. Btw great video and thanks a lot for what you do for us!
Another awesome video!! Thanks so much. Any chance you might consider doing a video on Dan Fogelberg's "Longer?" I think it's one of the best guitar ballads ever written. Thanks again!!
Please do more Emerson Lake and Palmer songs, like Watching Over You, from Works Volume 2. Nice job!!!
Amazing Tutorials...I wonder if you could do a tutorial on Aerosmith's "Dream On"? I would appreciate it very much. Blackbird and Tears In Heaven are GREAT and so fun to play! Thank you for all your time and effort and I will be donating!

Hello! I was wondering if you could teach the intro of Crazy On You by Heart but the one that is live in 1978. Is on UA-cam is says (Live 1978) became I think is a very cool variation of the intro and it has some cool licks and maybe you can teach it like when you taught the Still You Turn Me On but the Cal Jam version. I really hope you see this, I would love to play that improvisation that she does... I have been trying to do it by ear, I didn't have success 🙃 ... Anyway, love you channel and I hope you see this
Could you please do "Green Eyes" by Coldplay? Having a hard time....
Could you please possibly do white summer by Led Zeppelin. Since you’ve done black mountain side. the two pair together.
Could you breakdown Sweet Virginia by the stones?
