This is my first ever crochet project and I did it. I messed up a couple of times but in the end it came out so much nicer than I expected, especially with the yarn I used. You can do this!
alejandra a. Im actually trying to learn as well! Did your crochet hook match the size of your yarn? That’s kinda confusing lol. Cause I got the 5 mm hook and on the yarn package it said that it would work for a 5 mm hook but I feel like the hook is too big...

The only thing you missed is the filet crochet heart in the center of the chest. I would totally love to see you make it again with the heart. I’d still watch both cause your channel gives me life 🥰

I haven't really checked that, But I had 200g of the orange yarn and 60g of the green one, and I still have some left. I hope that helps ❤️❤️❤️

Uhhmmm about the decreasing part of the top for the armpit side how many rows do I count for a bigger size
This is something you can try while you doing it, 5 rows can work for different sizes, do the decreases until the top is not touching your armpits anymore, you want it to go around your armpit. But you can do around 5/7 rows. I hope that helps, if you need more help let me know. ❤️❤️❤️

It’s my first too! It isn’t perfect but it is doable!
This one it's a very easy top, you might get a little lost with the decreases but if you try a few times you will manage it, I think this is a beginner friendly video and project, you will be able to do it! ❤️❤️❤️

My yarn is way thinner than yours, so when I start the armpit section, 12 stiches on each side seem pretty thin for the arms, so I am wondering if you could share the lenght in centimeters instead, for those 12 stitches, so that I can calculate in my gauge.

Yes you can, it might be a little tighter, but you can always give it a try.
Does the size of the crochet hook matter?
Not really, you have to check your yarn and use the one that correspond to it 💓
What happens if you do a single crochet
You can! Maybe just add a chain in between so you still have the little roles on the top, otherwise you can do it with scs only and it's going to be more covered to wear outside. 😍
How much yarn did you use?
I have been trying to do this tank top three times, but for some reason my project keeps getting longer (??? 😭😭😭 like i made it 40cm long for waist, but after repeating the process i realize it is 60cm long now 😔😔😤 i dont understand why
