Zachy, 7yo, plays chess with Johnny O'Leary in Washington Square Park

Johnny O'Leary is the best! Our son Zachy (7) has been learning from Johnny for almost a year. Johnny plays everyone from world-renowned chess champions to your average Joe, but is exceptional at teaching kids. Johnny is the KINDEST GENTLEST man. He refuses to take our money so we buy him coffee or ice cream when we go. He is an NYC gem and we are so grateful!!
