Love this project! I was just looking at how to make a calendar from photos of my watercolors from the past year. There are a couple of companies that make the calendars. I got the idea from another watercolor artist. I think it makes a nice gift.

Thank you. I feel like I have URGENCY to get a start on my Christmas cards started. Last year I started a notebook with all kinds of ideas and decided to do an abstract tree shape. First. I tape off a large triangle then paint a simple beach scene inside the tree shape. I am able to use so many ideas that you have taught us: clouds, sea, sailboats, seagulls, beach, beach-grass, trees. And it looks super cool when I take the tape off and add an abstract tree-trunk and seasonal greeting. I could do a different scene from my neighborhood each year. (I live right by Lake Michigan). Your techniques have made this simple and fun. Most of all FUN! So thanks again and hope you have an enjoyable season creating.
