ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Thank you for sharing and explaining your technique so clearly. Truly enjoyed your tutorial.
Thank you so much!
Stunning. I love that you use a paint brush to apply your gliders. It is such a good idea.
Thanks so much 😊
Those are like no other. Can’t wait to try them!
beautiful ❤
Thank you 😊
Wow, I had no idea you could brush thinned PVA glue over watercolor without re-activating the watercolor and making a mess. I don't have any sort of chunky glitter like you've got here...but I do have some automotive metalflakes in several colors, some being holographic--also tons of dry pearl powders. I could also try using gold or silver leaf--I have some unusual variegated colors. I can use my airbrushes to add a subtle smoke/cloud background. This is a great basic card design to work with--I have 10 Christmas cards w/ envelopes to paint and can make them all basically the same but different. Thanks for posting this!
Great ideas! Thank you so much 😊
Just watching this process brought joy to my day and really put me in the holiday spirit! Thank you! ❤

Absolutely wonderful tutorial and image!
Thank you so much 😀
I love your videos.❤ It all looks so easy. I bought a watercolor starter set. With paint, brush and pad. But I just don't dare to just try it. 😂😮
You can do it!
Just start! You have nothing to lose. Think of it as playing with paint. Maybe start with swatching or color mixing just to get to know the materials and breaking them in.
Beautiful. I may try to paint one myself
Thank you so much.
Happy painting 😊🎨
One of the most beautiful paintings I've seen this year. Thank You.
Wow, thank you!
Loved this and had to give it a try....so simple but mine came out great too....thanks
The crayon is genius!
I am mesmerized watching you watercolor your bauble painting. I haven’t tried water coloring at all but bought a few sets to use on other card making projects.
But laughing all the way to my artroom with this fabulous goal I’m going to give the bauble painting a good old fashioned (college) try! I laugh because trying different things makes me so full of joy inside. Oh I have to add the glitter mix was a brilliant idea! So Thankful I found your channel!
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy painting this one!

Karen,
This is so much fun. I want to sprinkle gold dust on the cards. What kind of glue should I use?
Thanks,
Phyllis
Thank you Phyllis. I am not absolutely sure. Does it say on the packaging? I would use waterbased pva.
I don´t use a fineliner any more for finest lines and details, because I use anstead a well working glass dip pen + brush if I need, with any watercolor, or ink, or watercolorfluid etc pp that I want ...
this very useful tool is also very cool for sign and writing or drawing no matter what you want.
or a simple ruler pen can also be helpful in a simular way incl. straight lines ...
I´m shure these 3 tools can also uleashed your watercolor artwork ... 😃
Great tip! Thank you so much 😊🎨
I made this last night short of the glitter part and I almost ditched it but decided to leave it until this morning to see it completely dried. It doesn’t look half bad! I didn’t add the dark tones on the lower right edges because I was afraid I wouldn’t get the same effect as you did (I don’t have the same colors as you). I just added more pigment. My question is should I try to give those areas a dark swipe with a very thinned out dark (watered down lamp black perhaps) to darken it? Thanks for the tutorial! Also-I used my own trick of scoring the round shape on the paper in the hopes of containing the color better and keeping the paint from seeping out of shape. I think it helped.
Thanks so much for sharing. Sounds like you have painted a lovely card! Well done!!
That’s gorgeous! I’m going to do this.
Thank you, Karen, for such a fun and inspiring project. I love Christmas season and experimenting with all your watercolor techniques will make this year even more meaningful for me. I'm coming out of a rough year, and this is just what I needed to reaffirm my creative spirit.
