I'm happy the package actually arrived. Not many can do the challenge by the way so thank you for the reactions 😁
Please enjoy it all and let me know which one you liked the most...
You're a generous and thoughtful person for giving them wonderful candy and giving us guaranteed reactions. gott nytt år! (I think?)
By the way, do you like julmust? I was trying to describe the flavor.....then i realized the brand ikea sells is....less than optimal. I had a much better one from a "european" store (i live in California, so.....)
@@lisamwong Thank you. Appreciate it. Happy new years to you too (Gott nytt år / God fortsättning)
@@lisamwong I do like it occasionally. The ones we usually drink is called 'Apotekarnes Julmust'. I actually sent them swedish traditional christmas cookies called 'pepparkakor' (gingerbread cookies) that are awesome with Julmust or tea, or coffee or glögg (mulled wine)
You are a true gentleman for warning them ahead of time......as well as for giving them lots of other yummy treats.....hope you and your family are well and have a great 2021.☺️
The Scandinavian in me is cackling because I know there's going to be licorice
Bowing with respect to you Scandinavians and your appreciation for licorice in many shapes and additions like salt. I really wish i grew up there except for the cans and tubes of fish.
Hahahah yeess !!
HI im German and I had Swedish licorice before and it tastes very good.
haha yeah,I love turkish pepper. Its my favourite! I live in Germany now so i special order it sometimes. Its hard to get good salt liqourice cause no one but us nordic people (yes, finns are included) actually likes liquourice. :D
As a Dane I love all
Can’t wait for everyone else to try the first 3 snacks 😂😂 and please make these videos a little longer!!
I'm from Sweden and I'm laughing at your pain, this is hilarious! I know not many are fans of licorice especially not spicy licorice so I see why that was in the challenge! I look forward to seeing the rest of the cast endure this suffering and I'm sorry for looking forward to it 😂
I m from sweden too
All the Finns getting triggered by the Tyrkisk Peber with a word "Swedish" on a same thumbnail.
Tyrkisk Peber originated from Denmark but are being produced in Finland
Awww you Finns and your inferiority complex. Men vi tycker om er ändå!
@@Opuskrokus Lol det är ett skämt.. men du behöver inte heller gilla finländare. Det är okej. ❤️
Finns bought it from Danes, and video says it's Swedish snack. Much confusion...
And the Norwegians who invented it gets no credit...
(love me some angry danes, all pink n' whatnot)
My favourite duo. Heejae’s reactions I just can’t take how cute she is holy moly!
As a swedish person it was very funny and entertaining to watch this video as I myself find these snacks jummy Hope they try this again.💕🇸🇪
Yaaay swedish snacks!!! 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪
YESSSS PLEASSSSEE let Yeonjin, Sehee, Yeongsol and YeongJeong try thoooossseee😍😍❤️❤️😂😂😂😂😂😂
Someone should really send them a can of surströmming, I can already see their priceless reaction
I thought of that when they said the box was heavy but that would be too mean.
I really hope they would film outdoors though. Like there's a very good reason the majority of surströmming videos is filmed outside lmao.
But I agree that the reactions would be epic, even though they'd despise and curse the fan who sent it.
And honestly not sure you can ship it very easily since AFAIK many airlines does not allow it in like personal luggage.
It going to killed thier sense of smell if they try it
The problem is that thing is not good to send on long trips... Poor people!
Waits for “that kind” ... 😂
And I quite like the liquorice, especially the salty kind. I guess it’s an acquired taste. 😂
100% agree
Yeah exactly; at first, it's automatically repulsive but then it gets kind of addictive :D
It's something you have to get used to, I agree with that. I've heard one of the reasons why Koreans tend to dislike it is that some medicine supposedly has a similar taste. It's one of the reasons why I've never been able to drink vanilla Coca-Cola. I had some awful medicine as a kid with the same taste and it just ruined everything.
The outside is salt, yes? If I rinse the outside, is it still absurdly salty?
@@flinx Not that bad, but some have salt inside of them as well. Tyrkisk peber/Turkisk peppar do.
The taste is still strong though, but it's a different taste than the salt on the outside.
Lol on how they edited Hoseung as the MGM roaring lion from when he’s wincing while eating the licorice 👌
Omg those black candies are so gooood but I understand that the flavour is really strong and thats why many forgeiners don't like them. Love from Finland❤
Ho Seung and Hee Jae.....you tried so bravely yet you two became more victims of Swedish licorice....but the Beast still reigns and Hee Jae is cute as ever....on the plus side, now you have something to prank friends with. 😄
Why is TURKINPIPPURI among Swedish snacks?? Travesty edit: Ok, to be fair, it was originally Danish before Fazer bought the rights. It's never been Swedish though
Finnish right ? ( I watch the Hydraulic Press Channel )
@@daveangels Yes, they're Finnish(:
I'm guessing because it's popular in Sweden.
Happens all the time between the Nordic countries, there were Swedish snacks in the bag from Finland :)
@@T.K.T They are Finnish now but originally from Denmark.
The way HeeJae said ABCDE eppeu G was the cutest thing :D
Best thing this whole year lol
Both of them are looking cute with the red clip! Hoseung looks super cute !!
Laughing so hard I’m crying.
It is a taste you either love or hate.
There is not middle ground!!
At first they said about eating snacks we are ready and after eating their reaction can't stop laughing 😂😂😂
A Finn:
-> *reads the title*
-> *looks at the thumb nail*
-> *sees Fazer's product*
-> t r i g g e r e d
As someone living in Sweden, “Djungelvrål” (the EXTREMELY salty licorice) is a love hate subject... you either love it or hate it...hehe (we mostly use it to prank foreign friends). If you like licorice, then it gets better after the salt dissolves (some dunk it in water first to get rid of the salt, but it doesn’t really improve the taste😅). Either way...I’m happy you two survived! Take care and I look forward to more fun and entertaining content 🌸
// Val
Hahaha it’s the same in Iceland 😁🇮🇸!!
Good to know us neighbors think alike😆✨
guilty of the "we mostly use it to prank foreign friends" hahahaha
@@valery_art_studio yeess hahaha

I LOVE liquorice! Tyrkisk Peber, Piratos and Djungelvrål!
In Denmark we usually make shots by mixing vodka and crushed Tyrkisk Peber.
4:17. I missed that reaction from HeeJae! Now my day is made!
Hoseung went from beast to puppy real quick with this, I personallyenjoy Tyrkisk Peber
I ain't first
I ain't last
But when Awesome world uploads
I click fast
Dear Heejae, Dear Hoseung & Dear Team of the channel AWESOMEWORLD ... The Scandinavian liquorice is famous among connoisseurs for its taste and quality. All over Europe. The Dutch can imitate that well, and so can we Germans, but! the really good stuff [liquorice] is only available from the Scandinavian countries. If you don't like it that much, of course - it's always a question of taste ... It happens, everyone has their preferences when it comes to food. We are not machines after all ... THAT distinguishes us, and so we can also give us little joys with small gifts, such as chocolate ...
Greatings from Germany --- and nice Channel... more of this!
Look how happy he is 2:13
Snacks! I love these videos. It’s nice to see you trying snack food from around the world.
I love Turkisk Peppar! ❤️
Salty licorice is the best candy ever. 😋👍
I'm from Sweden and in all my years of living and eating Djungelvrål which translates into Jungle roar, when she did that it made me laugh because i have never seen or understood why its named that, i find them delicisious! Thanks for the video.
I’m from Sweden it’s so fun to watch you guys try Swedish candy
Their reactions were priceless. I probably gained abs from laughing so hard. Bless you Sweden! And bless you Awesome World!!!
I always watch these videos in the hope that there is anyone who would like the salmiak.
You should try Fishermans Friend also.
You should try them in ice cold weather when you haven't seen the sun for a week because the whole sky is just one grey cloud.
I was born and raised in sweden so I've eaten almost all of the things you guys tried today! For me its delicious snacks!
I'm in tears hahahahaha that Awesome World Beast edit murdered me hahahahaah
As a swedish person i have all of that you tried and i love all!
Swedish candy is something extra, thats for sure. Loved this!
I do have to correct you a little bit. Those tyrkik pebers are made by Fazer, which is a Finnish company not Swedish! Although they are sold in sweden also they are still Finnish ;)
And they were originally Danish.
And they are soooooo good :) Remember to bite it, there is filling in those ;)
@@CottidaeSEA Yeah i wasn’t sure of the actual origin of the candy and didnt claim so either, just meant that those particular ones are finnish as they are made by Fazer :p
Please sprinkle on more "koreans try" stuff in rotation. Those reactions were hilarious.
The second one you tried, it's called 'monkey's rage' in Finnish, and it's my absolute favourite! It's also great to eat around candy-grabbing relatives, since I am the only one in the family who likes it ;)
This episode made me laugh so hard I 🤣 cried. The "gentle beast" facial reactions are now my screen saver! I adore you kids ❤
This was hilarious! HeeJae was amazing. Honestly, I'd love longer videos that allow us to see their reaction to everything they tried. If you split the video into two parts, that would be fine too.
Licorice is the shibbolet of Scandinavians. I would gladly snack on any of those candies. :-)
Hoseung became an instant baby. 😂
Good ole Djungelvrål always delivers. 😂 Gonna have to buy myself a bag tomorrow.
HeeJae deserves beast title. 💙 Fearless!
The way Hoseung bails out is funny, but not worthy of beast title. 🙊
beast means satan btw. not a good nickname
Good on them for not treating it like a bad nickname. If anything, the title beast looks like it is playfully mocked. To each their own.
I am not religious, but one of my favorite portrayals of Satan in the movies, was done by an actress.
I love turkish pepper. It's so delicious, but it comes from us being used to those (Finn here).
My friends sometimes have same kind of reactions when I introduce east asian foods and snacks to them, they are just so confused. 😂
I love salty licorise candy myself :D Could easily eat that whole bag of djungelvrål at the same time:D I recommend to suck the salt off slowly. Your reaction was not unexpected though :D Wish I sent you that package. :D But there are more extreme salty licorise candy I can send you instead. If you can eat at least one these I'm happy. Give us a part 2 for the rest of the team :D
Salty liquorice is the best
ROFL.. I'm sorry to be laughing so hard.. but Hoseung ( The BEAST' ) & Heejae's expressions during the challenge , was well worth the watch on this episode.. I love a good reaction and snack unboxing. Are the other panelists gonna get a turn at tryin' the snack challenge ? hehe keep up the awesome content guys ! happy new year and love from San Diego California !
The even better part of Tyrkisk Peber is the filling in the candy. Soooo Good
5:22 Hoseng the beast.
den här hamnade i min recommended, I like that...
Allt där folk testar lakrits hamnar i min med.
The reaction of Hee Jae when she say « it ok » and after a few seconds « I’ll be back ».
5:23 is the greatest thing I have ever seen in my life. 😂😂😂 5:23 제가 평생 동안 본 최고예요.
Tyrkisk Pebers are good, but I have them rarely, lol. I'm finnish, btw.
Holy Moly! love this hahaha. The Scandinavian and snack hungry me are jealous. I sure hope they don't throw out the delicious liquorice... hehe
Hi awesome world, I’ve been watching for a while and I love this channel💖
My American colleagues had the same reaction to the salty licorice candy when I brought it from Sweden. I love it (and can easily finish a bag of Turkish Pepper or Djungelvrål in one sitting), but I guess it is an acquired taste.
It's called a slide whistle, Hoseung. 😏😁 It seemed like you had WAYY more snacks there than you were actually shown trying. Did you make two videos? Or did they just edit out a bunch?
I understand those reactions truly
My favourite Swedish snack is most likely KEX. (the chocolate bar)
i was having an awful day and ur video literally lifted up my spirits.. i love you guys and am so happy that you guys are doing youtube coz u guys literally make my day. love y'all, sarangheo ❤❤❤❤♥♥♥
Haha im from sweden so im excited
스칸디아비아 반도 감초가 대체적으로 엄청쎄대요
The Tyrkish pepper is soo god :) grew up on those as candy, brings back lots of memories... so funny to see the expression though.
That liqorice is awesome.
Especially "Lakrisal"!!!
the one who gave those treats must be a prankster LMAO the reactions
I have been eating Turkisk peppar all day. I love all of the first three that they tested. Yummy yummy in my tummy 🖤
"Hardcore" 😂 This is what I eat while watching a movie after a stressful day at work 😅
I’m from Denmark and we eat those as well. licorice and salmiac is tasty for us (Scandinavians). I personally really like those small licorices in the yellow/red packing 🤗😂.
Tyrkisk peber is one of my favourite candy. The powder in the middle is really yummy.
All the 3 first are sooooo tasty! My favs. Will there be a part 2? There are still many snacks that they never got to try in the video.
A swede here! Djungelvrål and Tyrkisk Peber are salty licorice haha, I personally really like them lol I think they are an aquired taste, I remembering not liking it when I was a child but then they grew on me. I think we have a lot of those things in Sweden, like Kalles kaviar and fermented herring etc.
Please do longer videos🥺 would’ve loved to see you guys try the other snacks!
They dissed both my absolute favorirte candies - Tyrkisk Peber and Djunelvrål, but I'm not surprised😆
I laughed SO MUCH during this video omg. The Awesome World Beast at the end killed me. 😂
My only critique is these snack videos are usually too short and don't always fulfill the goal of trying snacks for viewers. I'm kind of sad the person who sent the box put in so much effort to include descriptions of everything and we only got to see like 5 things and know next to nothing about them haha.
Thanks for the memes hoseung 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Omg, I love Turkish pepper.😁
One of my great joys in life is to watch non-swedes (apart from our neighbours of course who also happily eat it) try Djungelvrål. 🤣🤣🤣
Milk chocolate with Turkish pepper by Fazer ( 🇫🇮 ) is so good ♥️
Me as a person who was born and lived here in sweden it's funny to see both of your reactions 🤣
I love tyrkisk peber! When I was a kid I could not fathom why anyone would eat salty liquorice but as I've grown up I grew to love the taste. What I've got to tell you though is that there's good liquorice and bad liquorice, and the taste varies a lot between brands and candy types. You just have to find the type you enjoy. Love from Finland 💜
This was really fun to watch as a sweden person! I wish you tasted the other two cookies too, ballerina and pepparkaka, they are really good
All of those are delicious!! Tyrkisk Peber for the win!
Black licorice, Swedish salty licorice is the best :D!
Say hello to "salmiak liquorice" - popular all over Northern Europe. In Denmark we even have a lemonade ice with this taste, which when scheduled for cancellation, prompted a "rescue operation" by a radio program.
so funny to see reactions on licorice hahaha, these three are my favourites since childhood. also the purple "viol" candies with gold package they didn't like are my favourite hahah, the taste comes from violet flowers
Stay safe, positive and healthy
Love and support from the Philippines ^_^
This was hilarious!🤣😂 THANK YOU PETERSON, HOSEUNG, HEEJAE & PDnim!!! I really appreciate you tasting the spicy stuff for us! Hoseung you were hilarious...waiting for HeeJae to taste it first! HeeJae is AMAZING! She is the best! HeeJae is so brave! Well done Awesome World!!!!👍
That was funny. I wonder if it was the snack version of surströmming
I dont understand how they dont like something so delicious. I can easily eat like 5 bags of jungel vrål
I love salty liquorice! 😋 Turkish peber, Djungelvrål and the third one as well even though I can't remember the name of it. The faces they were making was so funny to watch. Poor guys 😅 But many kudos for trying them out! 🙌🏻
Also, have to say as a Finn that I was quite surprised to see Fazer named as a Swedish candy. But anyway glad to know that it probably means that Sweden have and enjoys Finnish candies as well 🤗 Personally, out of those three, Djungelvråls are my favorites~ 😉
I love liquorice! Tyrkisk peber is one of my favorites 😅
Please can the rest of awesome world cast try this snack. 🤣🤣 i was funny watching them eating that. 🥰🥰🥰😍
As a norwegian the three first are so good!!!❄️🌬
@5:23 PERFECTLY EXECUTED!! Hahahahaha 😂😂😂 Funny how after they tried the other snacks, they get sooo suspicious at the aftertaste 😂😂
Watching them eat is giving me strong vibes to go and eat
I'm Swedish and I like all sweets and those hardcore sweets funny vide thank you
3:46 I love all three candies in the challenge. I’m in fact eating tyrkisk peber now XD
I eat those ones every day and I like them. My first reaction was the same but later on, I started to like them as well.
