  • In this video, I cover off the method I used to improve the lighting on the SBC-100 vapor blaster conversion using aluminium extrusion door slides and 3d printed brackets.

Keen to see some videos of your set up! Let me know if you post them to your youtube!
My guns for small compressors use a 2.5mm air jet and an 8mm ceramic.
      Cheers!

greetings from Istanbul. Can't you connect a light to the sandblasting gun?

      Hi,
Yes, absolutely and I have seen it done a few times before. Though it is not without complaint.
It is a harsh environment for the light and the lens is quickly damaged, making the light dull. Also the gun is not always pointing from the same direction that you are looking, so it casts odd shadows that can be annoying for users.
It also makes the gun more cumbersome.
      Thanks for watching!

Hello friend, I am from Russia, in your example I assembled a camera and a pistol with my own hands, but I ran into a problem, the part is not cleaned to such an ideal state as yours. tell me, maybe I missed something, maybe you add something to the water to make it shine, please help

      Hello Daniel,
Can you measure your water/media ratio? And what media are you using? Also, what air pressure?
      Thanks for watching!

@Armoury Enterprises Thanks for the help. Air pressure is stable 5 atmospheres. The ratio of water to glass beads is 1: 3. Air nozzle 2 mm, water 5 mm. The dirt was gone, but there was still no shine, maybe I forgot to add some third ingredient to the emulsion?

I only use the glass and water. Did they definitely sell you glass beads and not crushed glass?
Try increasing your pressure to 6 atmospheres, and increase your air nozzle to 2.5mm and your water to 7mm.
      Josh

@@ArmouryEnterprises thank you very much for the advice on how to distinguish glass beads from broken glass, they are very small in size

Is it written on the bag? If so, it is usually correct. If not, you can only tell by looking in a microscope.
